Student Council members should meet in the auditorium today during their lunch shift.

Congrats to Margo Nea for finishing 27th out of 164 runners at the State Class 3 Championships on Saturday at Jefferson City.

All cross country runners are to meet Coach Morse right after school on Wednesday in the high school gym to turn in uniforms and warmups.  Please make sure they are clean.

FCCLA is conducting a silent auction in the DHS library.  The auction will run from Nov. 1 through Nov. 15.  It will end after third period on the 15th.  Bidding increments must increase a minimum of $.25 each bid.  100% of the proceeds will be donated. We will notify the winning bids that Friday and expect payment before Thanksgiving break.

Kicking Cats will practice in the middle school on Tuesday.

We love to see so many students enjoying the ping-pong tables before & after school and during lunch and hope this continues.  However, we must go back to the original policy of turning in your student ID to check out equipment from the Bearcat Den. Several recently purchased paddles have been damaged and destroyed and we can not continue to replace these items.  Students may also bring their own equipment.

Students watching games should not stand between the tables or directly next to them when in use.  We want to allow those playing plenty of room and prevent students from leaning on, or putting weight on tables to avoid warping / damaging tables.

SHOUT OUT to Student Council and all the students and organizations who participated in Trunk or Treat last night.  There were some great themes & costumes!!  We heard so many positive comments and lots of parents expressed their appreciation for this event.  Great job DHS for making the event a success and giving back to the community who does so much to support our school.

Student Council members attending District Convention next week,  need to meet Monday morning at 7:45 a.m. in Ms. Wiggins room for a quick meeting.  Be sure all signed permission slip are turned in!

All advisory classes will go to the BEC today to watch on the Intramural Volleyball Championship game.

Intramurals -  Please wear athletic shoes (tennis shoes) on the courts.  Students may not be on the courts if they are wearing any other type of shoe as the sole can damage the court surface.

FBLA Macaroni & Cheese Drive begins today and goes through November 20th.  More information about contests and prizes coming soon.

Stop by the DHS Library and check out the items in the FCCLA Silent Auction.

Students & Staff - The Dexter High School Activities calendar is on our school webpage and there is a link on our daily announcements.  Anyone can view the calendar and search for events.
