Bernie Elementary Positive Office Referrals for Week of January 22, 2018
Bernie, Missouri - Kellie Owens, Bernie R-12 School District, has announced the students who received Positive Office Referrals for week January 22, 2018.

Students who earn such an honor also received a Subway Sandwich Gift Card and a POR Certificate.

These students were referred for displaying positive behavior!

Colin Duggar is a 6th grader in Mrs. Hare’s class. Mrs. Noe referred Colin for working hard and doing a great job in math.

Mathias Crawford is a 6th grader in Mrs. Noe’s classroom. Mathias was referred by Mrs. Noe for working hard in all of his classes.

Larissa Throckmorton is a 6th grader in Mrs. Hare’s classroom. Mrs. Noe referred Larissa for always working hard and being helpful to others.

Destiny Tropf is a 6th grader in Mrs. Noe’s classroom. Mrs. Noe referred Destiny for working hard in all of her classes.

Keagen Condict is a 3rd grader in Mrs. Arnold’s classroom. Keagen was referred by Mrs. Arnold for always helping clean up their area and the classroom.

Alexisnell Zimmerman is a 1st grader in Mrs. Richey’s classroom. Mrs. Garner referred Amelia for stopping in the hallway and helping another student tie his shoes.

Raegan Mays is a 6th grader in Mrs. Hare’s classroom. Mrs. Noe referred Raegan for working hard and showing her work in math.

Blake Berger is a 6th grader in Mrs. Noe’s class. Mrs. Noe referred Blake for being responsible and finding lost money and returning it to its owner.

Amelia Snider is a 1st grader in Mrs. Richey’s class. Amelia was referred by two teachers this week. Mrs. Richey referred Amelia for being helpful to students. Mrs. Garner referred Amelia for making smart choices and standing quietly in the hallway.

Jacob Hurdle is a 3rd grader in Ms. Snider’s class. Mrs. Arnold referred Jacob for standing quietly every day in the hallway while lining up for lunch.

Lila Wishon is a 3rd grader in Mrs. Arnold’s class. Lila was referred by Mrs. Arnold for being responsible and working hard. Lila was absent one day and the next day she came in ready to work and got everything finished by working hard.

2018 DHS Winter Homecoming Queen is Kelby Hill

Dexter, Missouri - The Dexter Bearcats held their annual Winter Homecoming Queen Coronation on Friday, January 19, 2018. 

Addie Kruse, 2017 Winter Homecoming Queen, crowned the new queen and her court.

Second Alternate is Natalie Sitze.

First Alternate is Michaela Gard.

The new 2018 Winter Homecoming Queen is Kelby Hill.

Kelby is the 16-year-old daughter of Sara Davis and Cory Hill.

She is a member of Varsity Volleyball Team, Softball Team, Student Council, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Sr. Beta, Top 10%, Scholar Bowl, and is the President of FCCLA.

Her future plans are to attend a four-year university. 

She was nominated by the Wrestling team.

Escorting Kelby tonight is Seth Rogers. 

Seth is the 16-year-old son of Brian and Brandy Rogers.

Addie Kruse, Retiring 2017 Winter Homecoming Queen Crowns New Court

Dexter, Missouri - The Dexter Bearcats held their annual Winter Homecoming Queen Coronation on Friday, January 19, 2018. 

Ten Candidates walked across the court hoping to become the Winter Homecoming Queen.  Each candidate will have a special article.

Crowning tonight's 2018 Winter Homecoming Queen was the 2017 Winter Homecoming Queen, Addie Kruse.

Addie is the 17-year-old daughter of Scott and Kerri Kruse.

Addie is a member of the Volleyball Team, Basketball Cheer, Future Business Leaders of America, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, National Honor Society, Sr. Beta, Future Teachers of America, Tobacco Free Missouri Youth, Student Council, and is the Student Body Vice President.

Her future plans are to enjoy the rest of her senior year then continue her education at Arkansas State University.

Addie’s escort is Braxton Foster.

Braxton is the 17-year-old son of Steve and Heather Foster.

2018 DHS Winter Homecoming Candidate Bailee Williams

Dexter, Missouri - The Dexter Bearcats held their annual Winter Homecoming Queen Coronation on Friday, January 19, 2018.

Bailee Williams is the tenth and final candidate.

Bailee is the 18-year-old daughter of Steve and Casey Williams.

She is a member of the Volleyball Team, Basketball Cheer, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Future Teachers of America, Future Business Leaders of America, Student Council, Pep Club, Sr. Beta, and National Honor Society.

Her future plans are to attend Arkansas State University and major in nursing. 

She was nominated by the Basketball Cheerleading team.

Bailee’s escort is Dawson Kasting. 

Dawson is the 17-year-old son of Kelly and Chuck Kasting.
