Kindergarten Students Earn Positive Office Referral Certificates
Dexter, Missouri - Southwest Elementary honors kindergarten students with Positive Office Referral certificates for week of October 23, 2017.

This award is presented to students who consistently show the 3R's RESPECTFUL, RESPONSIBLE, and READY TO LEARN at Southwest Elementary in Dexter.

Each student received a certificate and a FREE Taco from Taco Bell.

Bernie, Missouri - Kellie Owens, Bernie R-12 School District has announced the students who received Positive Office Referrals for week October 23, 2017

Students who earn such an honor also received a Subway Sandwich Gift Card and a POR Certificate.

These students were referred for displaying positive behavior!

Each student who receives a positive office referral also receives a certificate for a free meal to Subway!

SJ Lundy is a Kindergartner in Mrs. Williams’ class. Ms. Alicia referred SJ for using great manners on the bus.

Aviana Davis is a Kindergartner in Mrs. Mayberry’s class. Mrs. Garner referred Aviana for using great manners.

Bailey Null is 5th grader in Mrs. Collier’s classroom. Mrs. Noe referred Bailey for working hard in math. Melissa Barnes is a 5th grader in Mrs. Collier’s class. Mrs. Noe says that Melissa works hard every day.

Zane Wilson is a 5th grader in Mrs. Collier’s class. Mrs. Thomason referred Zane for holding the door open for students in the mornings.

Faith Rice is a 6th grader in Mrs. Hare’s class. Mrs. Collier referred Faith for participating in class. Mrs. Noe also referred Faith for working hard.

Alaina Commins is a 6th grader in Mrs. Hare’s class. Mrs. Noe referred Alaina for always working hard and helping others in math.

Destiny Earnheart is a 6th grader in Mrs. Hare’s class. Mrs. Noe referred Destiny for working hard in math.

Cole Riddle is a 6th grader in Mrs. Hare’s class. Mrs. Collier referred Cole for participating in class and working hard.

Jacob Hurdle is a 3rd grader in Ms. Snider’s class. Mrs. Debbie referred Jacob for giving his seat up for another student.

Travis Cooper is a 5th grader in Mrs. Noe’s class. Travis was referred by Mrs. Noe for working hard in math.

Eli Waltrip is a 1st grader in Mrs. Richey’s class. Mrs. Thomason and Mrs. Garner referred Eli for using great manners.

Lacey Young is a 3rd grader in Mrs. Arnold’s class. Mrs. Garner referred Lacey for helping a staff member.

Red Ribbon Week at Bloomfield Schools

Bloomfield, Missouri - Bloomfield Schools will celebrate Red Ribbon Week from October 30th - November 3, 2017.

Students will be given an opportunity to sign a pledge to be drug-free!

Dress up days are as follows:

Monday - October 30th - Hat and Shades Day - Show that you are too cool to use drugs by wearing your favorite sunglasses or hat.

Tuesday - October 31st - Costume Day/Black Day/Parade Day - Scare away drugs by wearing your Halloween costume or all black.

Wednesday - November 1st - Decade Day - Dress in your favorite decade attire and show that being drug free never goes out of style.

Thursday -November 2nd - Team Day - Team up against drugs and wear your favorite sports team apparel or Wildcat wear!

Friday - November 3rd - Pajama Day - Follow your dreams and stay drug free bey wearing warm pajamas and appropriate shoes.

Red Ribbon Parade - They will celebrate being drug free with a school parade at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 31st.  The parade route will begin at the H.S. gym, go up Seneca Street, turn right on Salem Street, turn right on Center Street, and continue back to school.  Parents and friends are invited to watch the fun.
