Central Elementary Students Raise Money for Hurricane Relief
Dexter, Missouri - Students at Central Elementary comprising of grades 3rd, 4th, and 5th recently raised money in effort to help a Hurricane victim.

"The students asked if we could do something to raise money," commented Megan Miller.  "So we had a "hat day" at school where students paid $1.00 to wear a hat."

Central Elementary students raised $280 on September 20, 2017.

"The money was used to buy a Wal Mart gift card and was sent directly to Mrs. Becky Covington in Houston, Texas," continued Miller.  "She is originally from Puxico and I had communicated with her to use the money to help students devastated by the hurricane in her local school.  She was very appreciative of the donation."
