Be Smart Don't Get Scammed!

Be Smart Don't Get Scammed!
Message from Dexter Schools,

There are several companies outside of Dexter that sell advertisements and tell our local businesses that they are working on behalf of the school or that the advertising money, or a portion of it, is returned to the school.

They are basically scamming local businesses, claiming the money is supporting the school, when in fact it is only a moneymaker for the company that isn't even located in our town.
They want to get the word out that if there is a financial/ fundraising need or an advertisement to be sold for Dexter High School, it would come directly from one of their administrators, club sponsors or students or advertised through our new website or social media.

Please know, if you ever have questions about ANYTHING at the high school or doubts about the authenticity of a person or company trying to sell something, you can call the schools or the chamber.

Aaron Pixley and Alana Dowdy are selling ads for athletic calendar posters for Fall and Winter sports to be given to local businesses by the athletes. If anyone is interested and you haven't heard from them already, please email or call them.
