
Dexter, Missouri - The Dexter High School held their annual Winter Homecoming Coronation on Friday, January 6, 2017 at the Bearcat Event Center. Ten young ladies were represented for five winter sports. Two from Cheer, two from Wrestling, two from Dance, two from girls basketball, and two from boys basketball. High school students voted for their Homecoming Queen and her court.
Third candidate of the evening was McKenzie Anthony.
She is the 18-year old senior and daughter of Robby Anthony and Bobbi Ray.
McKenzie is is a member of the varsity football cheer team, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, FCCLA, Student Council, and Sr. Beta Club.
Her future plans are to attend Southeast Missouri State University.
She was nominated by the wrestling team.
Her escort tonight was Jett Featherston.
Jett is the 15-year old sophomore and son of Sharon and Blaine Featherston.
He is a member of the varsity football team and wrestling team. He is also active in Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

She is the 17-year old senior and daughter of Chad and Jill Allen.
Harley is a member of the girls basketball team, National Honor Society, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Sr. Beta Club, Top 10%, and Refuge Youth Group.
Her future plans are to attend college at Southeast Missouri State University - Cape Girardeau and become a Nurse Practitioner or Nurse Anesthetist.
Miss Allen was nominated by the Lady Cats basketball team.
Her escort tonight was Gavin Beasley.
Gavin is the 18-year old senior and son of Gary and Machella Beasley.
He is a member of the track team and is the President of DECA.

She is a member of the basketball cheer team, tennis, Future Business Leaders of America, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Student Council, and Sr. Beta Club.
Her future plans are to attend college and study Sports Medicine.
Miss Aldridge was nominated by the Boys Basketball Team.
Her escort tonight was Jason Jarrell.
Jason is the 18-year old senior and son of Denny and Paula Jarrell.
He is a member of the baseball team, football team, and basketball team. He is also involved in Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Future Business Leaders of America, Sr. Beta, and Student Council.

Dexter, Missouri - T.S. Hill Middle School students performed well at the Jr. Beta State Convention held at the Black River Coliseum in Poplar Bluff.
Winners will have the opportunity to travel to Orlando, Florida in June 2017 to compete in the National Jr. Beta Convention.

Dexter, Missouri - The 2017 Dexter High School Winter Homecoming Queen and her court will be named on Friday, January 6th at the boys basketball game between the Bearcats and the Woodland Cardinals.
Junior Varsity play begins at 6:00 p.m. with Homecoming presentation to begin prior to the varsity basketball game.
