2016 Winter Homecoming Queen Candidate - Kelsey Kendrick

Dexter, Missouri - The Dexter Bearcats held their annual Winter Homecoming Queen Coronation on Friday evening.  Ten candidates walked across the court hoping to become the 2016 Winter Homecoming Queen.

Kelsey Kendrick is the 16-year old junior and daughter of Stephanie and tim Adams.

She is a member of the Varsity Basketball Cheer Team, Future Farmers of America and DHS Student Council.

Her future plans are to attend college and pursue a degree in the medical field.

Kelsey was nominated by the Basketball Cheer Team.

Her escort was Nate Weathers.

Nate is the 17-year old senior and son of Ron and Tabitha Weathers.

He is a member of the Future Farmers of America.

Kerigan Brady is the 17-year old senior and daughter of Gary Brady and Jennifer Brown.

She is a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, FCCLA, Dexter Rotary Interact, Student Council, DHS Varsity Band, Dexter Honor Society, and is the Student Body President.

Her future plans are to attend the University of Tennessee at martin and major in secondary mathematics education.

Kerigan was nominated by the Boys Basketball Team.

Her escort was Tyler Heil.  He is the 18-year old senior and son of Dan and Connie Heil.

Tyler is a member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Future Farmers of America, DHS Student Council, and the DHS Varsity Basketball and Baseball Teams.

The first candidate was Hailey Anderson.  She is the 17-year old junior and daughter of Billy and Lori Anderson.

Hailey is the member of the DHS Kickin' Cats Dance Team, Drama, Speech and Debate team and the Varsity Track Team.

Her future plans are to attend college and major in education.

Hailey was nominated by the Boys Basketball Team.

Her escort was Ben Sindle.  He is the 16-year old son sophomore and son of Darrell Sindle and Holly Bowman.

Ben is a member of the DHS Football, Basketball, and Track Team.

ShowMe Times Cheer Spotlight - Macy Roper

Dexter, Missouri - The ShowMe Times would like to spotlight Dexter Cheerleader Macy Roper.

Macy is a freshman at Dexter High School and is the 15-year old daughter of Tony and Tonya Roper.

She is a member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Future Farmers of America, and Honors Choir.  She is also a member of First Baptist Church Refuge.

Macy not only performs as a basketball cheerleader, but also lettered in football cheer her freshman.   Her hobbies are hanging out with friends, watching Netflix and sleeping.

She plans to go to college after high school and major in business management.

Homecoming Court at Richland High School

Essex, Missouri - The Richland R-1 High School held their 2016 Homecoming on Friday evening.  Senior Jordan Head was crowned queen and is seated surrounded by her court.

Included in the new queen's court are from left: sophomore candidates Riley Thornton and Landon Oakley, freshman candidates Laura Brown and Riley Glass, crown bearer Jude Rice, Homecoming King junior Preston Tilley, retiring queen junior Katie Pinkley, junior candidate Aleena Robbins, crown bearer Ava Porter and senior candidate Parker Miller.
