T.S. Hill Middle School Announces 7th Grade Honor Roll
Dexter, Missouri - T.S. Hill Middle School announced their 1st Quarter Honor Roll students.  Students must maintain a B average to be on the Honor Roll each quarter.

Making the honor roll is not as easy as one might think.  Middle School students who are high achievers acquire and develop excellent study habits and skills, especially in time management.  To manage time efficiently, students use a student calendar or planner.

Successful, lifelong learners set aside a time and a space every day to do their homework.  Student who can manage their daily workload have a better chance of attaining academic success.

Congratulations to every 7th grader who made the honor roll for the 1st quarter of the 2014 - 2015 school year.

DHS Book Fair a Success - Meeting Their Goal in ONE Day!
Dexter, Missouri - The first ever Dexter High School Book Fair went extremely well.  So well in fact that they met their goal of $1,500 worth of merchandise, which is approximately 300 books before the start of school on Tuesday morning.  What an awesome event!!!  They ended up doubling their goal by just a little!!!

On Friday, five students received their special Mockingjay-themed cupcakes.  A total of 24 students who purchased $5 or more from the book fair were awarded cupcakes.

Shown in the photo (Left to Right):  Katlyn Houston, Hannah Long, Shyann Jines, Kathryn Reiker, and Mackinlee Rogers.

Mockingjay  is the latest book made into film from the The Hunger Games series.  It is the first of two cinematic parts based on the novel and the final book in the Hunger Games trilogy written by Suzanne Collins.

“This is the first event of its kind and I have been blown away by how amazing our community has been in supporting this,” DHS Library Media Specialist Krystal Hobgood said.  “We have so many prizes to give away to the students and I know they will be thrilled.  I owe that all to the support of our community.

Way to go Dexter High School!!
