Making the honor roll is not as easy as one might think. Middle School students who are high achievers acquire and develop excellent study habits and skills, especially in time management. To manage time efficiently, students use a student calendar or planner.
Successful, lifelong learners set aside a time and a space every day to do their homework. Student who can manage their daily workload have a better chance of attaining academic success.
Congratulations to every 8th grader who made the honor roll for the 2nd quarter of the 2013 – 2014 school year.

Mrs. Miller, sponsor of Dexter Senior High School's STUCO, has asked students that have been involved in STUCO to volunteer to work at these games, as apposed to making the parents miss out on the games and only making the staff work the Concessions. The students were asked to volunteer about an hour of their time to help the adults.
Come out and support the Bearcats and STUCO tonight as the DHS JV and Varsity boys basketball team take on the New Madrid County Central Eagles at the Bearcat Event Center. Buy some popcorn, soda, candy or a delicious hot dog! Go BEARCATS!

Dexter, Missouri - The Dexter High School Senior Class of 2014 will be able to submit their own individual senior picture for the yearbook.
Therefore, if you have had or are planning to have your child’s senior pictures taken by a professional, one professional senior picture may be used in the yearbook. The photo you and your child select for the yearbook must be a vertical photograph.
To ensure that the photo you and your child submit is in the best quality possible, I am asking for a digital copy of the photograph. I can receive a digital copy of the photography in one of two ways. You or the photographer can e-mail me a copy of the image, or your child can bring it to me saved on a flash drive or burned to a CD.
The deadline for senior photo submission is February 1, 2014.
Thanks so much!!
