Missouri - In December 2013, MO-AG will award three (3) $1,500 Jim Russell Foundation Scholarships. In 1983, MO-AG set up this foundation and was renamed in 2008 to honor Jim Russell, a long-time supporter and leader of MO-AG.
The scholarship recipients will be individuals who are currently attending a Missouri institution of higher education (no high school student or college freshmen applications accepted) and majoring in a field related to agribusiness and intend on having a career in agribusiness. College juniors through college seniors are eligible to apply for these awards.
Requirements
1. Must be enrolled in college for the 2013-2014 academic year.
2. Must be attending a Missouri college.
3. Must be majoring in a field related to agribusiness and intend on having a career in agribusiness.
4. Must be a college junior through college senior.
5. Must have 3.0 Cumulative GPA.
6. Must not have received the Jim Russell Foundation Scholarship in a prior year.
To apply, submit a completed scholarship application and a complete transcript. Applications and transcripts must be postmarked by October 1, 2013, to be considered for this year’s award.
