Dexter, Missouri – It’s Spring Fever Reliever “Spirit Week” at Dexter Senior High School! Students will represent their school and show their school spirit by participating in activities throughout the week. They will display their unique since of style in fashion!
After a short Easter break from school, the students will be returning in the pajamas. Tuesday has been designated at P.J. Day. Pajama Day is always a relaxing fun day of spirit week. Everyone who hates Mondays especially love this day; this week there was no school on Monday….so it’s Pajama Day Tuesday. Students and teacher can wear their slippers, house shoes, pajamas and bathrobes! For those who dress in their pajamas every day, it’s one day out of the week no one will notice!
Wednesday is Duck Dynasty Day and everyone is invited to wear CAMO. How extreme will the students go to wear their favorite camo and hunting gear? Lots of students wear some type of camo everyday, but will they go all out and wear it from head to toe? Just have to wait and see.
Thursday has been designated as Twin Day. Students should find a friend and dress alike when they come to school.
Friday rounds out the short week with Tie Dye Day. Everyone can get in style with some tie dye shirts, pants, hats, socks, jackets, and even shoes that come in the crazy tie dye colors.
Friday night ends with a Spring Fever Reliever Dance in the High School Cafeteria from 7 p.m. – 10 p.m.
Show your school spirit and have fun during Spring Fever Reliever Week at DHS! Go Bearcats!

Dexter, Missouri – Spring is still trying to peep through the clouds, but the flowers are beginning to show signs of life. Easter came a little early this year and spring sports are already under way and those that love horseback riding will soon be galloping in the fields.
One young lady who enjoys riding is Tesa Jeanette Martin and she is the Calendar Girl for April 2013. Along with horseback riding, Tesa loves art and painting.
She is a junior at Dexter Senior High School and the daughter of Robert and Linda Martin.
Tesa is a member of Honors Choir, Dexter Honor Society and the Art Club. She is also a Varsity Football Cheerleader and is an Assistant Dance Teacher at Melissa's Studio of Performing Arts.
Tesa Martin is an attendant to Miss Dexter 2012, which is sponsored annually by the Dexter High School Music Department. Each year the attendants are chosen as Calendar Girls throughout the year.
Congratulations to Tesa Jeanette Martin!
