Its that time of year again, students are sulking and their parents are jumping for joy. Summer break has come to an end. It sure did fly by, but now its time to get back to business. Majority of the Stoddard County schools, Advance, Bernie, Bloomfield, Dexter, and Richland, will be starting Thursday August 16th bright and early. That means make sure your backpacks are packed and you have your lunch money ready because 8am is going to sneek up on you. College kids, its that time of the year again for you too! SEMO, Arkansas State, and TRCC will be starting on Monday August 20th. Be careful moving in and make sure you have your books, parking stickers, and student IDs.

The ShowMe Times wants to wish everyone a safe and happy school year and to please remember to not be texting while driving and to slow down and pay attention in school crossings and behind school buses. If you have gotten used to  not having to worry about school traffic on your way to work this summer get ready for it to start back up.
