Daniel Kevin and Heather Nicole Traughber-Claussen of Dexter are pleased to announce the birth of a son, born July 8, 2016 at 5:10 a.m. at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

Patrick Nicholas Claussen arrived weighing 5 lbs., 13 oz., and was 18 1/2 inches long at birth.

He was welcomed home by three older brothers.

Maternal grandparents are Michelle Hanner of Lecanto, Florida and Michael Traughber of Dexer, Missouri.

Paternal grandmother is Carole Kenny of Scott City, Missouri.
