"Puxico City Officials and First Responders Endorse Sawyer Smith for Prosecuting Attorney"
The Puxico Chief of Police, Puxico Fire Department, and Puxico City Mayor have endorsed Sawyer Smith for Stoddard County Prosecuting Attorney.
Sawyer Smith posted the endorsements to his social media accounts, and thanked the Puxico officials and first responders for standing with him in the campaign for Stoddard County to have a full-time prosecutor, who backs the blue, and pursues 'Justice For All.'
Smith wrote that he has great respect for Police Chief Rick Sheren, Fire & Rescue Chief Eugene Goodale, and former Sheriff's Chief Deputy / current Mayor Rick McLean - who is also a Vietnam War veteran and is familiar with Smith's work and support for veterans through the Wake Foundation and Stars & Stripes in Bloomfield.
Smith ended his statement by saying 'God bless you, your friends, and your families. Together, lets win this on August 2nd.'
He is a Republican candidate on the ballot and the election is just a few weeks away.

The Stoddard County Commission will meet in the Commission Chambers, in the Stoddard County Government Building at 9:00 A.m. on Tuesday, July 5th. Monday is a Federal and State holiday and the county offices are closed for Independence Day.
At 10:00 a.m. they will open the 2022 BOE Board of Equalization.
They will approve the previous minutes from Monday, June 27, 2020.
