
The Dexter High School Track and Field team participated in the 2024 Bob Sink Invitational at Jackson High School.
Medals were awarded for 1st through 3rd places for all relay and individual events. Plaques were awarded to the top two teams in both the Mens' and Womens' Varsity divisions.
Cameron Bell, junior, medals in the varsity boys 800 meter run. He placed 1st with a time of 2:04.84. Anistin Kyle also medals with a second place finish with a time of 2:05.15.
Ben Dowdy, junior, earned a medal. He placed 3rd in the varsity boys 3200 meter run.
The varsity boys 4x800 Meter Relay won first place as well as the varsity boys 4x800 also won first place.
Also placing first the varsity boys 4x400 Meter Relays and the varsity boys 4x 800 Meter Relays
Abbie Lloyd earned a first place finish in the girls Pole Vault.

The 2024 SCAA Softball Tournament seeds and bracket have been announced.
Advance Lady Hornets have earned the #1 seed followed by #2 Bernie, #3 Woodland, #4 Bloomfield, #5 Dexter, and #6 Puxico.
The bold seed on the bracket is the host site each day.
The 3rd place game and Championship game will be played at the higher seed with lights (TBD).
Game begin Monday, April 15th, semifinals on April 16th and Championship on April 17th.

Free Physical Day for Dexter athletes will be held at the Mercy Southeast formerly SE Health Hospital Clinic (N. One Mile Road) on Thursday, May 2nd, from 3:30 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. for any incoming
6-12 student that plans to participate in sports and/or band.
A new MSHSAA physical form will be on hand in the High School and Middle School office at Dexter.
Students should complete the first three pages before meeting with the healthcare provider.
A parent/guardian signature is required on the form.
