
Bloomfield, MO - The Bloomfield High School held their annual sports awards ceremony for both junior high and high school on Thursday, May 5, 2022.
Each athlete received a Certificate of Completion for participating in softball
Head Coach Charlotte Phillips and Assistant Coach Brasley Conner then presented the awards for the softball team.

Head Coach Victoria Mahoney and Assistant Coach Sarah Upchurch then presented the awards for the cross country team.
2022 BHS Cross Country Awards:
Best Male Runner- Joshua Reynolds
Most Valuable Player- Dawson Hill
Most Improved- Law Graser
Wildcat Award- James Barks

Bloomfield, MO - The Bill Haris Scholar Athlete of the Year award goes to a current senior, who has had two years of varsity experience, maintained a 3.0 GPA or higher, as well as excelled on the field or court and in the classroom.
This award is in memory of Bill Harris, a longtime Wildcat supporter, as his family wanted to have an award in his honor. This the 14th year for the award.
This year's winner is Ms. Karsynn Phillips.
She has a 3.96 GPA, scored a 22 on her ACT, and is currently ranked 4th in her graduating class.
On the volleyball court she has earned 2nd Team All District her freshman year, followed by 1st Team All district for three years in a row.
She has been named SCAA All Conference volleyball player for three years and is a three time member of the SCAA All Conference Cheer Squad.
On the softball field she has received Honorable Mention and All Conference recognition as well as 1st Team All District. She also has a great chance to add to those accomplishments in softball this spring.

Bloomfield, MO - Free physicals will be available on Wednesday, May 11, 2022 for 5th grade - 11th grade athletes who plan to participate in sports for the 2022 - 2023 school year.
Physical forms and sign-up sheets are available in the building offices. Forms must be signed by parents or guardians before May 11th.
Physicals are valid for two years.

Bloomfield, MO - The #5 seeded Bloomfield Wildcats upset the #4 seeded Advance JV Hornets in game #1 of the Stoddard County Athletic Association (SCAA) Boys Basketball Tournament on Monday evening in overtime.
Advance's Brylen Carlton recorded a game-high 21 points. Ayden Fleming contributed 15 points including three treys.
Bloomfield's Caleb Upchurch had a team-high 15 points. Lucas Dowdy added 11 points.
Game was tied 47 all and went into overtime. Bloomfield JV Wildcats pulled off the upset winning 51-50.
