
Dexter, MO - The Dexter High School Golf Team hosted their only home match in 2022 and recognized their seniors.
Dylan Sitze is the son of Eric and Delisa Sitze.
He is a member of the golf team, baseketball team, Sr. Beta Club, Student Council, Chamber Choir, National Honor Society and Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
He missed one year of golf because of Covid-19 when Dexter Schools dismissed in March 2020. He played three years of golf and medaled at the State MSHSAA Golf Tournament his freshman year.
Dylan signed to play golf for Evangel University upon graduation from Dexter High School.
His favorite memory was medaling at state.

The Dexter Bearcats secured the lead late in the game in an 11-9 victory over the Woodland Lady Cardinals on Thursday evening.
The game was tied at nine when the Lady Bearcats batted in the top of the eighth when Lexi Laramore drew a walk, scoring one run.
Woodland Lady Cardinals got things moving in the first inning, when they scored on a stolen base during Rhodie Long's at bat. She tripled on a 3-2 count, scoring two runs.
Both Woodland and Dexter blistered the bats collecting ten and six hits respectively.
Dexter tallied three runs in the fifth inning. The offensive firepower was led by Molly simmons, Kinley Chappell, and Kaylee Hazel, all driving in runs in the frame.
The Lady Cardinals scored four runs in the sixth inning. The big inning came thanks to a fielder's choice by Maddie Long and an error on a ball put in play by Sara Koenig.
In the top of the 7th inning, the Lady 'Cats tied things up at nine when Laramore singled on a 1-1 count creating a run.
Amelia Jenkins pitched Dexter to another victory. She lasted eight innings, allowing six hits and nine runs while striking out eleven players.
Lilley Long took the loss for the Lady Cardinals She lasted five innings, allowing six hits and six runs while striking out four.
Dexter tallied ten hits. Chappell and Laramore each managed multiple hits.
Mallary Barks wen 3-for-5 at the plate to lead the Cardinals in hits.
Dexter (9-7) play at Caruthersville on Friday evening.
Woodland (8-7) will host the Puxico Lady Indians on Friday evening.

The Kennett Indians were named the top seed for the SEMO Conference baseball tournament slated to begin on Friday, April 29th.
The tournament begins Friday with two games at Capaha Field, one in Kennett and one in Poplar Bluff. After the first round, the remaining games will be played at Capaha on Saturday, April 30th (watch for rain) and Monday, May 2nd.
Jackson was named the No. 2 seed, followed by #3 Poplar Bluff, #4 Notre Dame, #5 Cape Central, #6 Dexter, #7 Sikeston and #8 New Madrid County Central.
Notre Dame and Cape Central, and Jackson and Sikeston will play their opening-round matchups early on Friday in case bad weather forces the games scheduled in Kennett and Poplar Bluff to be moved to Capaha Field.

The Dexter tennis team defeated Sikeston 5 - 4 on Wednesday, April 27, 2022.
Sikeston earned singles wins from Levi Douglass, Noah Mason and Michael Walton and a doubles win from Mason and Charlie Robison.
Dexter earned singles wins from Drake Channell, Peyton Boles and Drew Chamberlain and doubles wins from Channell and Boles and Lawson Blocker and Cooper Worley.
