
Dexter, MO - The Dexter High School honored their senior Lady Bearcats on Thursday, February 17, 2022 at the Bearcat Event Center.
Avery Neely is the daughter of Jon and Leslie Neely
She is a member of the lady Bearcat Basketball Team and is a three year letterman.
Her future plans are to attend Harding University and pursue a career in physical therapy.
Her most memorable moment at Dexter High School was DNOW at Coach Sitze's home.

Her future plans are to attend Southeast Missouri State University - Cape Girardeau and pursue a career in special education.
Her most memorable moment at Dexter High School was when the JV and Varsity girls played in the Turkey Shootout in St. Louis her freshman year.

Three of our state-qualifying wrestlers will leave on Wednesday to head to Columbia for the Class 2 State Wrestling Championship. The first round will begin on Thursday, February 16th.
"We are so proud of them and want to show our support by providing a DHS Clap out," stated Josh Dowdy, DHS Athletic Director.
State Wrestling Qualifiers include: Eric Harmon, Harrison Pennington and Kolin Simpson.
The DHS Marching Bearcats lead the group through the halls of the school to the applause from fellow students and staff. The band played the school fight song as they walked through the halls.

The 2022 MSHSAA Class 4, District 1 Boys Basketball Tournament seeds and bracket have been released.
Districts will begin on Saturday, February 26th.
The tournament will be held at the Dexter High School.
New Madrid County Central earned the #1 seed followed by #2 Dexter, #3 Doniphan, #4 Notre Dame, #5 kennett and #6 Perryville.
NMCC has a record of 13-6; Dexter (13-9); Doniphan (13-7), Notre Dame (7-12), Kennett (5-16) and Perryville (2-18)
Saturday, February 26th Schedule:
2:00 p.m. #3 Doniphan vs #6 Perryville
3:30 p.m. #4 Notre Dame vs #5 Kennett
Tuesday, March 1st NMCC will play the winner of the ND/Kennett game and at 7:30 p.m. Dexter will face the winner of the Doniphan/Perryville game.
Championship will be at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 3rd.
