Dexter, MO - 2021 Lady Bearcat Tennis Team Spotlight - Mia Holden
Mia Holden is a sophomore at Dexter High School and a member of the Lady Bearcat Tennis Team.
She is the daughter of Sarah Ferrell and Ryan Holden.
Her grandparents are Susan and Steve Watkins, Sandy Cato, and Steve Holden.
Her hobbies are traveling, hanging out with friends, singing, and spending quality time with her family.
She attends First Baptist Church.
Dexter, MO - The Woodland Lady Cardinals earnt he top seed in the 2021 SCAA Volleyball Tournament to be held at the Bearcat Event Center in Dexter starting Monday, October 11th.
They are 18-3 overall.
Dexter (11-9-1) was seeded second, Advance (10-6-1) third, Bernie (11-3) fourth, Bell City (11-7) fifth, Richland (13-9) sixth, Bloomfield (7-10) seventh and Puxico (3-7) eighth.
The first-round games will be Monday, Oct. 11 and Tuesday, Oct. 12.
The semifinals are set for Thursday, Oct. 14, and championship night is scheduled for Friday, Oct. 15. (There will not be a football game on Friday night at Dexter. They play Perryville on the road on Saturday)
Dexter received the top seed for the five-team junior varsity tournament. Woodland was seeded second, Puxico third, Bernie fourth and Bloomfield fifth.
The first-round game will be Tuesday, Oct. 12, semifinals will be Thursday, Oct. 14 and championship night is set for Friday, Oct. 15.

Makenzie Mahy is senior at Dexter High School and is the daughter of Sheryl Mahy.
She is the granddaughter of Linda and Tom Mahy, Joe and Lorin Erlbacher, Martha and Jerry Erlbacher.
Makenzie is a member of National Honor Society, Future Business Leaders of America, FCCLA, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Sr. Beta Club, Pep Club, and HOSA.
