Jackson Varsity Wrestling Tournament Results for Dexter

Jackson, MO - Eric Harmon (soph), Kasen Forkum (fresh), and Jacob Medler (senior) earned the Bearcats' top finishes on Tuesday at the Jackson round-robin wrestling tournament.

Each finished third.  Overall Dexter finished fifth in the six-team event with 84.5 points.  Jackson won the tournament.  Seckman high school finished second followed by Rockwood Summit 4th place, Oakville High School was fourth and Kennett finished sixth.

Bloomfield, MO - The #8 seed Twin Rivers and the #9 seed South Pemiscot battled it out to the last second.  South Pemiscot rallied after half-time scoring 25 points  to tie 43 all at the end of three quarters.

Jolby Jones (TR) had a game high 17 points including five buckets one trey, and 4 from the charity stripe.

Jonathan Parry (SP) had a team high 14 points.

Twin Rivers will play #1 Dexter on Monday, December 28th at 3:30 p.m.

Bloomfield, MO - The 64th Annual Bloomfield Christmas Tournament seeds have been announced.

Dexter earned the #1 seed followed by #2 Kennett, #3 Portageville, #4 Bernie, #5 Doniphan, #6 Hayti, #7 Van Buren, #8 Twin Rivers, #9 South Pemiscot, #10 East Prairie, #11 Malden, #12 Holcomb, #13 Richland, #14 Gideon, #15 Puxico, and #16 Bloomfield.

Games begin on Saturday, December 26th at 9:00 a.m. against the #16 seed Bloomfield.

Saturday, December 16th Schedule:

9:00 a.m. Dexter vs Bloomfield

10:15 a.m. Twin Rivers vs South Pemiscot

Noon Bernie vs Richland

1:30 p.m. Doniphan vs Holcomb

3:30 p.m. Kennett vs Puxico

5th place game will be at 4:30 p.m. on December 30th.

COVID Regulations - Passes

The gym will be cleared after each session, as school officials will clean and sanitize the gymnasium.

Each school will be given 40 “Pass List Passes” and 110 “General Admission Passes.”

Pass List Passes are for coaches, players, cheerleader sponsor(s), administrators, or anyone that you feel needs a free pass into the tournament. These passes will be accepted at the usual Pass Gate entrance.

Cheerleaders in uniform will be allowed in free, as a group, with the school's cheer sponsor(s).

The “General Admission Passes” are for each school to distribute as you need to do so to parents, fans, staff, etc.

Pass List Passes and General Admission Passes will only be allowed to use during the session in which your team is playing. For example, a Bloomfield ticket will only get those fans into a session in which Bloomfield is playing.

Admission - $5 for ages 6 and up.
