Kennett, Missouri - The Dexter Lady Cats finished second place in the Class 1 district 1 Girls Tennis Tournament at Kennett losing to the Lady Indians 5-0 in the championship match on Wednesday, October 3, 2018. This was the Lady Indians' 12th consecutive district title.
In doubles, Sydni McAtee/Darcy Campbell beat Jadyn Northcutt/Malia Cook 8-3, Emma Phillips/Alexa Blankenship beat Abby Dorton/Hannah Bollinger 8-6 and Anelle Harris/Taylor Hufford beat Maci McBride/Courtney Northcutt 8-2.
In singles, Phillips defeated Dorton 6-1, 6-0, and Harris defeated Bollinger 6-0, 6-1.
The Bearcats finished their season 10-4. Congratulations Lady Cats on your second place finish.

Dexter, Missouri - The Dexter HIgh School Volleyball Team celebrated Senior Night on Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at the Bearcat Event Center.
Natalie Sitze is the daughter of Eric and Delisa Sitze.
She has played Volleyball and Basketball all four years of high school.
She is a member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Student Council, Future Business Leaders of America, FCCLA, Sr. Beta Club, Chamber Choir, and First Baptist Church Youth Group.
Her future plans are to attend college at a four year university and has not decided on a major course of study yet.
When asked what her most memorable moment was at Dexter High School, she said, "Making it to the State Basketball Tournament my sophomore year."

Maycie Martin is the daughter of Mike and Amber Martin.
She has played Volleyball and Basketball all four years of high school.
She is a member Future Business Leaders of America, FCCLA, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Student Council, Sr. Beta Club, Art Club, Pep Club, and National Honor Society.
Her future plans are to attend Mississippi State University.
When asked what her most memorable moment was at Dexter High School, she said, "Making it to the State Tournament in basketball my sophomore year."

She has played volleyball and softball all four years of high school and serves as the FCCLA President.
She is also a member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Student Council, National Honor Society, Top 10%, DHS Pep Club, Yearbook Staff, and is a Cadet Teacher.
Her future plans are to attend a four-year university and major in Special Education.
When asked what was her most memorable moment at Dexter High School, she said, "winning Homecoming Queen my junior year."
