
Dexter, Missouri - The T.S. Hill Middle School 7th grade Lady Cats basketball team hosted the Twin Rivers Lady Royals in their first home game of the season. It was a low scoring game, but the Little Lady Cats held on for the win 16-14.
Dexter's Caitlin Giles #14 had a game-high 8 points. Molly Simmons #25 tallied one bucket and Emily Hester #32 finished with a bucket and a couple from the charity stripe.
Hannah Bader had a team-high 7 points for the Lady Royals. Rachel Rommel recorded 5 points.
The Little Lady Cats will be back in action on Monday, October 9th when they travel to Woodland. They will also travel to Poplar Bluff on Tuesday, October 10th before returning home on Thursday, October 12th when they host Neelyville.

Marble Hill, Missouri - The 2017 Stoddard County Volleyball Tournament continues on Wednesday evening at Woodland High School with Junior Varsity and Varsity Bracket play.

Winner of that game will play #1 Dexter JV at 6:30 p.m.
5:15 p.m. #3 Bloomfield JV vs #6 Puxico JV
Winner of that game will play #2 Advance JV at 7:15 p.m.
Friday 3rd Place game will be played at 4 p.m. and the Junior Varsity Championship will be played at 6:30 p.m. Friday, October 6, 2017.

Semifinals are slated to begin at 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. on Thursday.
Third place game will begin at 5:15 p.m. and the Championship game at 8 p.m. on Friday, October 6, 2017.

Dexter, Missouri - The ShowMe Times Spotlight shines on Dexter athlete Alexa Werneck.
Alexa is #12 on the Dexter High School volleyball team and is the daughter of Amber Werneck and Chad Werneck.
Her grandparents include Randy and Paula Yancey of Dexter, Missouri.
Werneck is active in Future Business Leaders of America, Pep Club, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Student Council, FCCLA, and Future Farmers of America.
She attends First Baptist Church and participates in Refuge Youth Group.
Her plans after graduation are to attend Arkansas State University and become an ultrasound technician.
She has participated in club volleyball and basketball team and enjoys playing sports and hanging out with friends and family.

Maci is a senior and #19 on the Dexter High School volleyball team.
She is the daughter of John and Lori Daniels.
Daniels is active in varsity volleyball, varsity basketball, cheerleading, Future Teachers of America, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Future Business Leaders of America, Model UN, Senior Beta Club, Teens Against Smoking, and Student Council.
Her plans after graduation are to attend nursling school and obtain a PNP.
Academically, Maci is a member of National Honors Society and Top 10% and made Academic All State.
She enjoys hanging out with friends and attends First Baptist Church.

Bailey is a freshman and #14 on the Dexter High School volleyball team.
She is the daughter of Kris and Amie Chamberlain of Dexter, Missouri.
Her grandparents include Alice Ward of Dexter, Missouri, and Roger and Barb Bateman of Bloomfield, Missouri.
Chamberlain is active in Fellowship of Christian Athletes and plans to go to college after graduation.
She enjoys playing volleyball and hanging out with friends.
Bailey played USAV Volleyball and attends Risen Church.
