ShowMe Times Fall Sports Spotlight - Jadyn Northcutt

Dexter, Missouri - The ShowMe Times Spotlight shines on Dexter athlete Jadyn Northcutt.

Jadyn is a junior on the Dexter High School tennis team and is the daughter of Billie and Ken Stratton.

Her grandparents are Bill and Anna Swinney.

She is active in varsity track, Future Business Leaders of America, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Sr. Beta Club, Student Council, Top 10%, National Society of High School Scholars, and Pep Club.

Outside of school she is active in Refuge Youth Group.

Northcutt enjoys hiking, being outside, and shopping.

She is a member of First Baptist Church and has participated in USTA tennis.

Her plans after graduation are to attend college and medical school.

ShowMe Times Fall Sports Spotlight - Rachel Singh

Dexter, Missouri - The ShowMe Times Spotlight shines on Dexter athlete Rachel Singh.

Rachel is a senior on the Dexter High School tennis team and is the daughter of Mahender and Sheela Singh. 

She is active in Future Business Leaders of America, National Society of High School Scholars, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Model UN, Student Council, Sr. Beta Club, Year Book Staff, Pep Club, lettered in tennis, and was a member of Top 10% and National Honor Society.

Outside of school she enjoys playing tennis and being with her friends and family. 

In high school she had the most singles won in tennis during her sophomore year.    

Her plans after graduation are to attend UMKC in Kansas City and study pre-medicine. 

Rachel is a member of First Baptist Church.

ShowMe Times Fall Sports Spotlight - Nicole Sells

Dexter, Missouri - The ShowMe Times Sports Spotlight shines on Dexter athlete Nicole Sells. 

Nicole is on the Dexter High School tennis team and is the daughter of Joe and Kate Sells.

Her grandparents include Ron and Peggy Sells and Glen and Sandy McMullin. 

She is active in Student Council, Sr. Beta Club, National Honor Society, and Fellowship of Christian Athletes. 

Outside of school Nicole enjoys serving as a lifeguard and shopping. One of her interests is makeup and application.     

She has earned high school sports awards in varsity tennis. She was a member of the top 10% her freshman and sophomore years. 

Nicole's plans after graduation include attending Cape Career and Technology and to get accepted into their Respiratory Therapy Program. 

She attends St. Joe Church.

Bernie Mules Improve to 16-2, Beat Bloomfield

Bloomfield, Missouri - The Bernie baseball team won their last regular season game today at Bloomfield today 14-3 in 5 innings.

Dalton Hobgood got the win.

Wyatt Barnett had a monster game at the dish with 4 hits (including a home run and 5 RBI).

Hobgood, Gavin Brown, Weston Comstock, and Nate Dillinger each had 2 hits.

The team had 14 in all.

The team is now 16-2.

The Bernie Fall Tournament starts Saturday with Bernie vs Bloomfield at 10:00 am followed by Neelyville vs Puxico, Advance vs Campbell, and South Pemiscot vs Bell City.

The semi-finals are Monday at 4:00 and the finals starting at 4:00.

Makenna is a freshman on the Dexter High School tennis team and is the daughter of Peg Rodgers and Darin Rodgers.

Her grandparents include Pat Boone, Karin King, Ronnie King, and Jean Babb. 

She is active in Fellowship of Christian Athletes and Student Council.

She enjoys hanging out with friends. 

Her plans after graduation are to attend college, but is undecided on a major. 

Makenna is a member of New Bethel General Baptist Church and attends Refuge at First Baptist Church
