ShowMe Times Fall Sports Spotlight - Mallory Dunlap

Dexter, Missouri - The ShowMe Times Sports Spotlight shines on Dexter athlete Mallory Dunlap. 

Mallory is a sophomore and #18 on the Dexter High School volleyball team.  

She is the daughter of Deanna Casey and Brian Casey. 

She is active in the Sr. Beta Club and Future Business Leaders of America.  She also has lettered in varsity Lady Cats Softball.

Her hobbies include playing sports and hunting. Outside of school she participates in travel softball. 

Mallory attends Lighthouse Christian Center.

Her plans after graduation are to attend Southeast Missouri State University and study physical therapy.

ShowMe Times Fall Sports Spotlight - Mikayla Dodson

Dexter, Missouri - The ShowMe Times Sports Spotlight shines on Dexter athlete Mikayla Dodson. 

Mikayla is #24 on the Dexter High School volleyball team and is the daughter of Jennifer Dodson and Michael Dodson.

Here grandparents include Diane and Don Walker of Dexter, Missouri, Sandra Wren of Campbell, Missouri, and the late Ulis Dodson. 

She is active in Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Future Farmers of America, and the Pep Club. 

Mikayla enjoys hanging out with friends and plans to attend college after graduation. She also attends the First Baptist Church.

2017 Bernie Fall Baseball September Showdown

Bernie, Missouri - The 2017 Bernie Fall Baseball September Showdown will be begin on Saturday, September 23, 2017 at 10:00 a.m.

Bernie will play Bloomfield at 10 a.m.

Campbell will play South Pemiscot at noon.

Neelyville will play Puxico at 2 p.m.

Advance will play Bell City at 4 p.m.

The Showdown continues on Monday, September 25th with games at 4 p.m. and 6 p.m.

3rd Place game will be held on Tuesday, September 26th at 4 p.m. and the Championship game will be at 6 p.m. on Tuesday.

Rankings are: #1 Bernie, #2 Neelyville, #3 Advance, #4 Campbell, #5 South Pemiscot, #6 Bell City, #7 Puxico, #8 Bloomfield.

Bernie Wins Big over South Pemiscot
Steele, Missouri - The Bernie baseball team traveled to South Pemiscot and won a hard hitting affair 17 - 9.

The Mules got behind 6-1, but scored 5 runs in the 4th and 5th innings to secure the win.

Wyatt Barnett, Dalton Hobgood, Gavin Brown, Blake Beacham, and Trent Johnson had 2 hits each to lead a 13-hit attack.

Brown had 3 RBI. Nate Dillinger got the win in relief of Blake Beacham.

The team Is now 15-2 and will travel to Bloomfield on Thursday, September 21st.

ShowMe Times Fall Sports Spotlight - Hannah Pyles

Dexter, Missouri - The ShowMe Times Fall Sports Spotlight shines on Dexter athlete Hannah Pyles.

Hannah is #5 on the Dexter High School volleyball team and is the daughter of Amy and Jay Piles of Dexter, Missouri.

Her grandparents include Pauline and Charles McBride of Dexter, Missouri, and Norman Pyles of Gideon, Missouri, and Beverly Doty of West Frankfurt, Illinois. 

She is active in Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Pep Club, and FCCLA.

Her future plans are to be a forensic scientist. 

Outside of school she enjoys watching the St. Louis Cardinals play and has been a member of the USAU Volleyball and USSSA Softball leagues. 

Hannah attends First Presbyterian Church.
