Kennett, Missouri - The Lady Cats Tennis team traveled to Kennett on Saturday to compete in the Kennett Invitational Girls Tennis Tournament.

Tennis players from Kennett, Notre Dame, Windsor (Imperial), Sikeston and Dexter competed in the tournament.

Dexter, Missouri - The Dexter Lady Cats Tennis Team hosted Arcadia Valley on Wednesday, September 6, 2017.  The Bearcats varsity defeated Arcadia 9 - 0.  There was only one match for the JV with the Dexter girls winning 1 - 0.

"The girls got another WIN today! They played smart," commented head tennis coach Jenni Rinehart.  "We are looking forward to the varsity tournament in Kennett this coming weekend."

Annual Golf Tournament Benefits St. Francis Patients and Visitors
Cape Girardeau, Missouri - More than 170 golfers and 40 volunteers turned out for the 30th annual Benefit Golf Tournament on August 18 at Bent Creek Golf Course in Jackson. The tournament raised more than $149,000 and will provide free valet parking services for Saint Francis Medical Center patients and visitors.

Winners of the morning championship flight were Jacob Hogg, Roger Hogg, Christy Shawan and Matt Beddell, sponsored by Poplar Bluff Medical Partners. The second-place team was Aaron Panton, Kate Barnette, Casey Crowell and Jason Crowell, sponsored by The Bank of Missouri. Third-place winners were Mark Proffer, Chandon Springer, Jess Foury and Jason Chavez, sponsored by Medline Industries Inc.

Winners of the morning “A” flight were Steve Marchbanks, Mike Grunloh, Andy Brookshire and Bernie Heffernon, sponsored by Marathon Benefits Group/VOYA Financial.
