Bernie, Missouri - The Bernie Mules softball game against the Dexter Lady Cats was stopped on Wednesday, April 5th due to lightning.
The game was suspended with two outs in the top of the second inning. Dexter had runners on 2nd and 3rd and was trailing the Mules 4-1.
Cymber Arnold was the starting pitcher for the Mules while Chaylea Mosby started for the Bearcats.
The game is now scheduled for Monday, April 25th at 4:15 p.m.

Dexter, Missouri - The East Prairie Eagles, Bloomfield Wildcats, and the New Madrid Eagles participated in the 2016 Dexter Middle School Baseball Tournament on Saturday.
The Bearcats beat the East Prairie Eagles to earn a spot in the championship while the New Madrid Eagles beat the Bloomfield Wildcats to earn their spot in the championship game.
Bloomfield beat East Prairie to earn 3rd place. Dexter beat New Madrid 7-5 in the Championship for the win.

Bell City, Missouri - The Dexter 8th grade Lady Cats' volleyball team defeated Bernie 25-11, 25-22 to win the SCAA Volleyball Championship on Tuesday evening in Bell City.
Playing on the 8th grade team are: Colby Christian, Emily Jarrell, Margo Nea, Alexa Werneck, Blair Rogers, Madilyn Hampton, Sydney Patrick, Madeline Parker, Kelsey Carrier, and Audrey Lutmer.
Bell City, Missouri - The Dexter Lady 7th Grade girls volleyball team lost to Advance in the SCAA Volleyball Championship at Bell City 25-11, 25-23.
Playing on the 7th grade team are: Hannah Pyles, MeKenzie Yount, Bailey Chamberlain, Destiny Durham, Karlee Keirsey, Payton Phelan, Chloe Thurmon, Bronwen Young, Shelby Bishop, Molley Murphy, Mikayla Dodson, Mattilyn Williams, and Sydney Asberry.
