"Riley threw a great game," stated Dexter baseball coach Brian Becker. "He was able to change speeds effectively and kept their hitters off balance. He also did a great job of fielding his position."
Dexter scored four runs int he bottom of the second, six runs in the third and one run in the fifth inning. Green Wave managed to record their only run in the top of the second inning.
Mason allowed one run, two hits, two walks, and struck out five. Jacob Pedigo and Cody Pullum each had a hit and two RBIs. Jason Jarrell and Riley Mason finished 2 for 3 with one RBI. Trevor McDonald and Spencer Owens, and Hunter Parrott each added one RBI.
