Puxico, Missouri - The Dexter Bearcats braved the weather and coasted to a 70-36 win over the Puxico Indians.
Dexter led 14-5 at the end of the first quarter and 36 – 7 at the half.
“Our ability to defend set the tone for game against Puxico,” stated Dexter boys basketball coach Josh Dowdy. “I believe our transition offense is also improving. We were able to make some nice outlet passes and score out in front of their defense.
The Bearcats recorded double digits for each of the four periods.
Ethan Flowers had a tremendous night against the Indians recording a game-high 24 points. He hit six 3-pointers.
