Dexter, Missouri - Kaylee Carey is a 16-year-old junior at Dexter Senior High School. She began playing softball at the age of 6 and has since earned many achievements.
Kaylee began her softball career with the Riverton Girls Softball League in Riverton, Illinois and the Capital City Chaos Softball team in Buffalo, Illinois.
She holds a 4th place IESA Softball Title form 2011 and a 1st place IESA Softball Title from 2012 with the Tri-City Tornados in Buffalo, Illinois.
Since moving to Dexter she has been playing shortstop with the Dexter High School Lady Bearcats Softball team where she has earned the Highest Batting Average Award for the 2015 softball season.
In addition to her high school award she was awarded 2nd Team All-District Honors and 1st Team All-Conference Honors this year.
In her spare time, she has played for Dexter Intensity and the Bloomfield Softball League. Kaylee currently is playing for the Dexter High School Summer team, Bloomfield Softball League, and Southern Pride ASA Team.
Kaylee has an extraordinary opportunity along with her Southern Pride teammates to play in the Softball World Series in Branson, Missouri on July 20th – 25th. Her coaches Tommy Graham and Derik Ivey look forward to the girls’ participation.
Kaylee needs our help and is seeking sponsors to help offset the costs of their trip. Sponsors' names will be placed on one of the t-shirts that the entire team will wear during non-game events. The cost for this sponsorship is only $50.00. They have two t-shirt designs that they will be wearing and if you would like to have your sponsorship on the second t-shirt as well it’s just $100 for both.
The girls are also selling Boston Butts for $25.00. Money is due by July 10th and delivery will be August 1st and 2nd.
They have also decided to have a Car Wash/Bake Sale at Carnell’s Collision Service in Sikeston on Sunday, July 12th at 10:00 a.m.
If you would like to donate or help sponsor Kaylee and her teammates play in the Softball World Series please contact
