
Advance, Missouri – The Dexter Middle School 8th grade volleyball team ended their season winning the SCAA Volleyball Championship against the Bloomfield Wildcats on Tuesday evening in Advance.
The #1 seeded Lady Cats defeated #3 seeded Lady Wildcats 25-20, 25-20 for the 8th grade title.
Dexter finished their season with a record of 18-1.

Advance, Missouri – It was quite the battle between the Dexter Lady Cats and the Bernie Lady Mules 7th grade volleyball teams at the SCAA Volleyball Championship on Tuesday evening in Advance.
The #1 seeded Bernie earned the top prize by defeated the #2 seeded Dexter 25-18, 25-23.

Poplar Bluff, Missouri – The Dexter golf team took 7th place at the Poplar Bluff Invitation on Monday finishing with a team score of 342.
Ethan Stevens earned the low score for the Bearcats with a 78. Drake Mitchell finished with a score of 84. Gavin White had 83, River Chism 97, and Ethan Maul finished with a score of 97.
Poplar Bluff won the top spot with a team score of 300. Lafayette was second with a team score of 312, Notre Dame finished third with a score of 314.

Jackson, Missouri – The Dexter High School Track and Field team participated in the Jackson High School Invitational on Saturday, April 11th.
The Dexter Bearcats Women’s track and field team finished 4th overall with 19 events being scored. Jackson earned first place in team rankings with Poplar Bluff second and Cape Central third.
MaKayla Waldner, a junior, at Dexter High School is having a great season. She broke a State record this weekend in the 300 Hurdles. She ran a 43.32. The previous record was 43.90.
Waldner also broke two school records and a meet record during Saturday’s Invitational.
She also broke the DHS record for both the 100 meter hurdles and 300 meter hurdles and of course the Jackson Invitation Track Meet in the 300 meter hurdles. Congratulations on your State Record!!
