Dexter Fans Spotlighted on Heartland Football Friday
Dexter, Missouri - KFVS12 made an appearance at the Dexter vs Kennett Homecoming game and our high school Bearcat fans were spotlighted on the 10:00 p.m. news.

DMS 8th Grade LBB Steamrolls the Cardinals 57-8

Dexter, Missouri – It was a tough night all around if you were a Cardinal fan!  The Lady ‘Cats 8th grade girls basketball team rolled over the Woodland Cardinals 57-8 at the middle school in Dexter.

The Cards were unable to score in the first period of the game. Their best scoring drive came in the second period when they put 4 points on the board.  Dexter held double digit scoring in the first two period, 22 and 26 points respectively.

Chaylea Mosby tallied a game-high 21 points with all but one in the first half.  Natalie Sitze added 11 points and Rylee Allen scored 9 points for the Bearcats. 

The Dexter middle school 8th grade program improved their record to 4-0 and will travel to Neelyville on Thursday.  Game time 6:00 p.m. for the 7th grade with 8th grade to follow.

DMS 7th Grade Lady 'Cats Defeat the Cardinals

Dexter, Missouri – The middle school Lady ‘Cats defeated the Woodland Cardinals in both 7th and 8th grade action Wednesday evening.

The girls program at Dexter’s middle school is doing quite well and the spirit of the Lady ‘Cats is at an all time high. 

The 7th grade girls basketball program improved their record to 4-0 beating Woodland 52-22.  

Alexa Werneck was on fire hitting a game-high 27 points for the Bearcats.  Annie Slaton tallied 9 points and Shea Baker added 8 points.

Final Score Dexter 52, Woodland 22

Players of the Week vs Park Hills Central

Dexter, Missouri -The ShowMe Times is proud to highlight the outstanding performance of two Dexter Bearcat Football athletes.  Each week the ShowMe Times will choose two players – one offensive player and one defensive player who will be featured as Players of the Week.  Leadership on the athletic field is often a good indicator of the future development of our young students and is a perfect training ground for future leaders.

The ShowMe Times is pleased to announce the ShowMe Times Players of the Week #8 against the Park Hills Rebels are Austin Aldridge and Drake Mitchell.

Drake Mitchell tallied a team-high 11 tackles against the Rebels.  He is a senior at Dexter High School and gives 100% on the field.  He is the son of Kevin and Ann Marie Mitchell. He is your Defensive Player of the Week!

Congratulations  Drake!

Austin Aldridge received the ball more than any Bearcat against Park Hill.  He caught the ball five times for 40 yards.  Austin is a senior this year at Dexter High School.  He is the son of Jimmy and April Aldridge. He is your Offensive Player of the Week!
