“Our girls put the ball where they were supposed to today,” commented head girls tennis coach Kurt Lovelady.  “They are not content anymore to just get the ball back over the net.”

The Junior Varsity also won two of their three doubles matches against Farmington.

Nicole Sells/Reagan Miller won 6-2 and Rachel Singh/Brittany Gibson won 6-1.

The Varsity Tennis team improves their record to 6-1 and will be back in action on Friday at 4:00 p.m. hosting Poplar Bluff.

“We have progressed well, commented Lovelady.  “But we have got to play better than this against Notre Dame next week.  That’s going to be a big district match and I really want that one.  The way we played today in doubles won’t cut it.”

Good luck to the Lady ‘Cats against Poplar Bluff tonight.  Match time 4:00 p.m.
