Statistically, Holy Cross is the conference's best team in defending the three, allowing opponents 29 percent while shooting 35 percent on their own end.
Senior guard Devin Brown, a 2011 All-League Second-Team selection, leads the team in scoring (15.7 ppg) and has a team-best 33 three's. Redshirt junior R.J. Sailfish Add Scott Kingston To Dugout
January 18th 2012 by Unknown

Kingston will fill the role of assistant coach on the staff while working alongside associate head coach Kent Bottenfield as well as Carter who enters his third season as the head coach for PBA.
Most recently the head coach at NCAA Division III, Mitchell College during the 2011 season, Kingston also has had assistant coaching stops in his career at Frostburg State University, The University of Michigan, Keystone College, and Indian River State College.
With Carter undergoing medical treatment in his fight against brain cancer throughout the fall, bringing in another solid coach alongside Bottenfield will prove to be beneficial in a number of ways.
"Being able to bring in a guy with the background and abilities of a person like Scott will be a tremendous addition to our program," said Bottenfield.
"His passion for the game and his desire to make players better as individuals and within the team concept made him a natural fit for what we are trying to accomplish with our program," concluded Bottenfield.
Kingston will begin his duties with the team in January and will primarily be focusing on the team's hitters, base running, and recruiting efforts.
Kingston's time at Mitchell although short proved to be very successful as he led the Mariners to their first-ever New England Collegiate Conference regular season and tournament championships while also earning the program's first trip to an NCAA Regional.
Mitchell proved to flourish offensively under Kingston's leadership as they finished as one of the most prolific offensive teams in all of Division III including leading the country in team batting average (.352) and slugging percentage (.539) while concluding the season with a 23-11-1 record and a 14-4 mark in the NECC.
Before taking the reins of the Mitchell program in his first head coaching stint, Kingston honed his recruiting and player development skills at a number of other institutions around the country.
Most recently Kingston was the top assistant coach and recruiting coordinator for Indian River State College in nearby Fort Pierce, Florida where he worked under head coach Mitch Markham for the 2010 season.
Kingston began his coaching career in 2000 when he assisted at Frostburg State University while serving as the recruiting coordinator and junior varsity head coach. He would later move on to assist in the recruiting efforts at The University of Michigan (2004-05) before becoming the Associate Head Coach at Keystone College in 2009.
Before entering the coaching world Kingston played at the likes of NCAA Division II institutions, the University of West Georgia and Columbus State University. He competed at the junior college level at Middle Georgia College.
Primarily a corner infielder during his playing days, Kingston was drafted by the New York Yankees in 1995 following graduation from Columbus High School in Columbus, Georgia where he played under head coach Bobby Howard and helped lead CHS to three state championships.
Scott is married the former Christa Patrick of Clarksummit, Pennsylvania in July of 2011.
