The skies looked like it could pour at any moment, but Monday night was dry and the action on the ball fields was hot!

The final week of the Dexter Parks & Recreation league play began with a full night of games at the Sports Complex. From coach pitch and machine games to the older boys paying some well-played contest, fans had a full night of action.

The 2011 season continues its streak of "no rainouts", even though last Thursday (June 23) was a "no lights" night. The field lights at the complex were not working Thursday night, and games were postponed until Friday, June 24 for crews to repair the problem.
