In Memory of Brenda E. Parker

Brenda E. Parker, daughter of the late Earl White and Dorothy Jennings, was born on October 5, 1950, in Pyletown, Missouri, and departed this life on January 31, 2025, at Cypress Point Skilled Nursing Center in Dexter, Missouri, at the age of 74 years.


Mrs. Parker was a former office manager for White’s Siding and Guttering in Dexter, and a former employee of Brown Shoe in Bernie. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Church in Dexter. She loved spending time with her Granddaughter Katelyn and singing karaoke.


On January 14, 1972, in Dexter, Missouri, she was united in marriage to Harold “Fuzz” Parker. Mr. Parker survives of their home in Dexter.


Along with her husband, she is survived by her son, David Parker and wife Jami of Doniphan, Missouri, by her daughter, Amy Parker (Ashton Rodgers) of Dexter, Missouri; by three brothers, Larry White and wife Carol, Mike White and wife Kathy, James White and wife Pat, all of Dexter, Missouri; by her sister, Debbie Kozan and husband Mike, of Nashville, Illinois, by three grandchildren, Katelyn Parker (Preston Barber), Paetra Scott, and Trenton Scott; and one great grandchild due in May.


Other than by her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Don White, by her sister, Dixie Watkins, by her sister-in-law, Cleta White; and by her dog, Miley.


Visitation will be held at Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Monday, February 3, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Funeral services will then be conducted on Monday, February 3, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Sycamore Cemetery in Dexter.
