Terry Dean Gaines, son of the late Bobby Dean Gaines and Nedra Ann Beckham Gaines, was born on June 11, 1958, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, and departed this life on May 26, 2024, at his residence in Dexter, Missouri, at the age of 65 years.
In his more youthful days, Terry loved fishing and hunting almost as much as he loved being a Dad. He spent his free time reading and listening to music, both of which were lifelong passions. If you've seen Beau from The Ranch, you've nailed his personality. To know him was to love him. He will be deeply remembered by his children and friends as someone who was wonderfully sentimental, kind, and selfless. He would often say that money had little value to him. Moments and his family mattered above all else. This sense of family and stability will live on in his children forever, along with his wonderful sense of humor. We would be remiss to not add his faithful dog, Molly. Most days you could find him by her side, listening to Eric Church.
He is survived by his son, Jesse Lee Dean Gaines of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; by two daughters, Kayla Gaines of Cape Girardeau, Missouri and Cassie Kindzierski and husband Lance of Crestview, Florida; by his sister, Tracey Gaines of Dexter, Missouri; and by ten grandchildren, Landyn, Elias, Gabriella, Aubrianna, Jaxson, Jason, Carter, Evelyn, Audrey, and Julien.
