
Marge Thurston, daughter of the late Walter W. Heigle and Glennia Howard Heigle, was born on July 8, 1932, in Morrilton, Arkansas, and departed this life on August 7, 2022, at her residence in St. Charles, Missouri, at the age of 90 years.
Mrs. Thurston was a mother and homemaker, and she was of the Church of Christ faith.
On October 5, 1979, in Bell City, Missouri, she was united in marriage to Ralph Glen Thurston. Mr. Thurston preceded her in death on January 4, 2009.
She is survived by her son, Paul Graham and wife Theresa of Vicksburg, Mississippi; by her daughter, Pam AuBuchon and husband Dan of St. Charles, Missouri; by two brothers, W.W. Heigle Jr. and wife Diane of Vicksburg, Mississippi, and W. Wade Heigle and wife Jodi of Fort Worth, Texas; by four sisters, Billie Jean McCoy and husband James of St. Louis, Missouri, Leota Hamill of Searcy, Arkansas, Wanda Baker of Campbell, Missouri, and Renee Alford and husband Tom of Quinton, Alabama; by two grandchildren, David AuBuchon of Port St. Lucie, Florida, and Marcie Kindler and husband Jonathan of Kansas City, Missouri; and by two great-grandchildren, Coda and Canon Kindler.
Visitation will be held at Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter, on Friday, August 12, 2022, from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.
Funeral services will then be conducted in the Mathis Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, August 12, 2022, at 2:00 p.m.
Interment will follow in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield.

Ollie Merle Fox of Bernie Missouri, son of the late Ollie Franklin and Pearl (Davis) Fox was born on August 29, 1943 in Essex, Missouri. He passed from this life on July 31, 2022 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 78.
Ollie had lived in Bernie the past several years as well in Lemont, Illinois. Ollie retired about 24 yrs ago from being a tree surgeon. He truly enjoyed doing word puzzles, word games, hunting and fishing and most of all was a practical joker. Along with that he was also a very generous person who thought of others more than he did himself.
Ollie is survived by one son Jason Fox of Vancouver, Washington; three daughters Christine (Michael Sydello) Fox of Bernie, Missouri; Teresa (Russell) Stockman of Villa Park, Illinois; Rena Fox of Bolingbrook, Illinois; one brother Larry Fox of Dexter, Missouri; one sister Leatrice Joy Swinger of Dexter, Missouri. A host of family and friends also survive.
Ollie was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters Helen Miller and Marceda Ann Wyman; one grandson Ryan Namon Bugbee.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday August 2, 2022 from 5 till 7 P.M. until the time of service at the Watkins And Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri.

Hillis Charles Poe, son of the late Roscoe Charles and Clara Emily Manning Poe, was born on November 28, 1935, in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas and departed this life on August 3, 2022, at his home in East Prairie at the age of 86.
Hillis lived most of his life in East Prairie and worked for A.C. James Construction in Sikeston, Missouri.
On March 26, 1959, he was united in marriage to Dora Helen Henry, who survives of the home.
Other than his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Valerie Jane (Todd) Baker of Fair Hope, Alabama, and Kim Poe (Kevin Burney) of East Prairie; one brother, Chester Poe of East Prairie; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
One brother, Bill Poe; five sisters, Alta, Flora, Jean, Carol, and Jackie all preceded Hillis in death.
Graveside services will be held Friday August 5, 2022, at 4:00 p.m. at East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery with Bro. Tommy Smotherman officiating.

Gary M. Davis of Round Rock, TX passed away of natural causes at his home on July 2, 2022 at the age of 78. He was born in Bernie, MO to the late Herman and Mara Lee Lindsay Davis on November 21, 1943.
Gary was a graduate of Bernie High School in Bernie, MO and a graduate of Semo University in Cape Girardeau, MO. He served honorably as a Navigator in the United States Air Force for 28 years, retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel in 1991. Gary is a veteran of the Vietnam War and Desert Shield/Storm. For his service, he earned many medals and flew several combat missions.
Gary is survived by one daughter, Sasha (Elliot) Saleman and two grandsons, Simon and Ethan Saleman of Georgetown, TX and two sisters, Marilyn K. Ferrell of Sikeston, MO and Martha Faye Davis of Bernie, MO.
Per his request his cremains will be interred at Arlington National Cemetery in Washington, D.C.

Stephen Warren Belvin, son of the late Warren Belvin and Patsy June Crump Talley, was born on November 12, 1962, and departed this life on August 1, 2022, in Dexter, Missouri, at the age of 59 years.
Mr. Belvin was an employee of Associated Electric in New Madrid, Missouri, working as a heavy equipment operator, and he was a resident of Dexter, Missouri. He loved racing, fishing, and hunting.
On July 16, 1994, in Dexter, Missouri, he was united in marriage to Pamela Hicks. Mrs. Belvin survives of their home in Dexter.
Visitation will be held at Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Thursday, August 4, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.
Funeral services will then be conducted in the Mathis Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, August 4, 2022, at 12:00 p.m. Interment will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.
