
Virginia Lee Pullum, daughter of the late Ernest McCollom and Lois Black McCollom, was born on June 2, 1934, in Bloomfield, Missouri, and departed this life on May 12, 2022, at Winchester Nursing Center in Bernie, Missouri at the age of 87 years.
Mrs. Pullum was a former employee of Wal-Mart in Dexter, Missouri, working in the fabric department for 20 years. She was a member of the Beech Grove Church in rural Essex, Missouri and a resident of Bloomfield, Missouri. She enjoyed horses and horseback riding, flowers, gardening, and listening to gospel music. She loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and would do anything for them.
On February 9, 1954, in Bloomfield, Missouri, she was united in marriage to Charles N. Pullum. Mr. Pullum preceded her in death on January 2, 2000.
She is survived by two sons, Steve Pullum and wife Lynn of Dexter, Missouri, and Danny Pullum of Sikeston, Missouri; by her daughter, Debbie Ward and husband Dennis of Bloomfield, Missouri; by five sisters, Helen Launius of Moorpark, California, Audrey Duncan of Dexter, Missouri, Ruth Scandridge of Kentucky, Kathryn Hyslop of Dexter, Missouri, and Elaine Launius of Bloomfield, Missouri; by three grandchildren, Tyler Pullum, Kara Walker, and Travis Pullum; by three great-grandchildren, Tristin Pullum, Tara Pullum, and Emma Walker; and by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Other than by her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Jimmy McCollom.
Visitation will be held at Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Sunday, May 15, 2022, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Funeral services will then be conducted in the Mathis Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, May 15, 2022, at 2:30 p.m.
Interment will follow in the Walker Cemetery in rural Bloomfield, Missouri.

Leila Forbis, daughter of the late Amber Howe and Myrtle Lewis Howe, was born on October 11, 1923, in Meridian, Mississippi, and departed this life on May 9, 2022, in Bakersfield, Missouri, at the age of 98 years.
Mrs. Forbis was a former resident of Dexter, Missouri. She was a homemaker and worked with her husband in his electric shop in Michigan.
On November 17, 1938, in Piggott, Arkansas, she was united in marriage to Dawsey Forbis. Mr. Forbis preceded her in death on May 4, 2017.
She is survived by her son, Bill Forbis of Michigan; by her daughter, Phyllis Sparks of Bakersfield, Missouri; and by five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were conducted in Dexter Cemetery on Friday, May 13, 2022.

Mary Beth Neblett, daughter of the late Robert Wheeler and Betty Sherfield Wheeler, was born on February 11, 1957, in Tupelo, Mississippi, and departed this life on May 8, 2022, at Southeast Health of Stoddard County, in Dexter, Missouri, at the age of 65 years.
Mrs. Neblett was a former certified nursing assistant in Tupelo, Mississippi for 35 years. She was of the Christian faith and a resident of Dexter, Missouri.
She is survived by three sons, E. C. Deason of Nettleton, Mississippi, Robert Deason of Parma, Missouri, and Brad Putnam and wife Katy of Washington, Missouri; by her daughter, Christy Pettigo and husband Tim of Nettleton, Mississippi; by her sister, Debrah Hull of Baldwyn, Mississippi; by seven grandchildren, Nicole Deason, Thorn Wiley, JB Deason, Zaine Pettigo, Hunter Deason, Constance Deason, and Michael Deason; and by one great-grandchild, Grayson Deason.
Visitation will be held at Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Wednesday, May 11, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Funeral services will then be conducted in the Mathis Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, May 11, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in the Hagy Cemetery.

Martha Jane Kincade, daughter of the late Forrest Kitterman and Emma Francis Goodson Kitterman, was born in Little Rock, Arkansas on July 5, 1946 and departed this life at her son’s residence in Rural Bernie, Missouri on May 6, 2022 at the age of 75.
Mrs. Kincade was a homemaker and a resident of Bernie.
She was united in marriage to Chalmer Kincade. Mr. Kincade preceded his wife in death.
Survivors include two sons, James Edward Jankowski and Christopher Allen Jankowski both of Bernie, Missouri; by one daughter, Susanne Marie Staton of Madison Heights, Michigan; by seven grandchildren, Haydn Paul Owens, Colton Seigel Jankowski, Braylin Glen Jankowski, Zainyn Christopher Jankowski, Randy Robert Staton and Devin Skyler Trammell; by five great-grandchildren; also by other relatives and friends.
Mrs. Kincade was preceded in death other than by her parents and by her husband, by one son, Robert Bobby C. Jankowski; by one brother, Jimmy Kitterman; by two sisters, Pat Coker and Nancy Buttry.

Mrs. Watson was a homemaker and a resident of Dexter. She was a member of the Bernie Church of Christ in Bernie, Missouri, the former deputy tax collector for Elk Township, and on the ARC Board of Directors.
On March 3, 1945, in Paragould, Arkansas, she was united in marriage to George Watson. Mr. Watson preceded her in death on February 3, 2012.
She is survived by two sons, Joe Watson and wife Sharlette of Dexter, Missouri, and Marty Watson of Malden, Missouri; by her daughter, Kim Harrington and husband Mark of Lake Mary, Florida.; by five grandchildren, Jimmy Wayne Watson, Jarrod Watson, Kyle Watson, Ryan Harrington, and Connor Harrington; and by seven great-grandchildren, Adley Jo Watson, Tatum Watson, Reese Watson, Rylee Watson, Luke Watson, Will Watson and Ellory Watson.
Other than by her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Connie Watson.
