David Allan Mouser, son of the late L. L. “Buster” Mouser and Rubie Kelley Mouser, was born on December 11, 1946, in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, and departed this life on February 11, 2022, at Cypress Point Skilled Nursing in Dexter, Missouri, at the age of 75 years.

Mr. Mouser was a Veteran of the United States Air Force. He had worked at Rust & Martin, was co-owner of Gisi Oil and had also worked at Delta Companies. He was of the Baptist faith and a resident of Dexter, Missouri. He was a member of the Dexter Rotary Club and a Paul Harris Fellow.

On October 17, 1968, in Bernie, Missouri, he was united in marriage to Janie Gisi. Mrs. Mouser survives of their home in Dexter.

In addition to his wife Janie, he is survived by his son Geoff Mouser of Jackson, Missouri; by his daughter, Lindsay Moore and husband Shane of Dexter, Missouri; and by two grandchildren, Hudson Moore and Whitley Moore.

Visitation will be held at Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Thursday, February 17, 2022, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Funeral services will then be conducted in the Mathis Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, February 17, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Greg Stevens officiating.

Interment will follow in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield.
