In Memory of Thomas Kelly McMullin

Thomas Kelly McMullin, son of Larry Glenn McMullin and Brenda Sue Hamby McMullin, was born on December 27, 1972 in Dexter, Missouri and departed this life on March 26, 2020 in the emergency room at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 47 years.

Kelly was a former employee of the Cape Girardeau Sears' Store, working in the appliance department.

He is survived by his parents, Larry and Brenda McMullin of rural Essex; by two sons, Michael Thomas McMullin and Zachary McMullin both of Essex; by two grandchildren, Marli McMullin and Bentley McMullin; and by one brother, Jimmy McMullin of Richmond, Virginia.

Graveside services were conducted at New Essex Cemetery on Sunday, March 29, 2020.

Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter is in charge of all arrangements.

In Memory of Gracie Louella Case

Gracie Louella Case, formerly of Paragould, was born on September 1, 1930 in Rector, Arkansas to the late William Howell and Sylvia Heskett Howell and departed this life on March 23, 2020 at the Cypress Point Skilled Nursing Center in Dexter, Missouri at the age of 89 years.

Mrs. Case was a member of New Haven Baptist Church. She was a homemaker and a self-employed painter with her husband, Ralph.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Franklin Case. Mr. Case preceded her in death on March 24, 2011. Also by her brother, Hershel Howell and sisters, Almarita Sanders, Voneta Martin, Reba Griggs, Irene Holifield, Jewell Martin and Beulah Young. 

Survivors include, son, Tony Case of Paragould; daughter, Sandra (Jerry) Dorton of Dexter, Missouri; sister, Brenda (Bob) Barnes; four grandchildren, Megan (Dallas) Gillmore, Cole Case, Brett (Christy) Dorton and Shanan (Mark) Zabelin and seven great-grandchildren, Abby Dorton, Carter Dorton, Emma Dorton, Haddie Dorton, Ethan Zabelin, Neeley Rae Gillmore and Sawyer Grace Gillmore.

Services will be private and under the direction of Mitchell Funeral Home in Paragould. Interment will be at Greene County Memorial Gardens. You may sign the online guestbook at www.mitchellfuneralhomes.com

In Memory of Billy B. Reynolds

Billy B. Reynolds, son of the late Ivond L. Reynolds and Dorotha Mae Fisher Reynolds, was born on May 31, 1943 in Heber Springs, Arkansas and departed this life on March 12, 2020 at his residence in Dexter, Missouri at the age of 76 years.

Mr. Reynolds was a veteran of the United States Air Force.  He was a former Data Service Technician for ACXIOM Corporation in Conway, Arkansas.   He was a manager for manned space flight support operations for the Apollo XI Mission first moon landing flight.  He was a member of the American Radio Relay League and the National HAM Radio Association, call sign KK5T.

He is survived by his daughters, Sheri R. Eaton of Houma, Louisiana and Teri R. Keller of Ama, Louisiana; and by three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother; and his sister.

A memorial service will be planned for a later date.

In Memory of Bruce D. Ivy

Bruce D. Ivy, son of Leatrice Joy Fox Ivy Swinger and the late Frank Eugene Ivy, was born on July 12, 1951 in Bloomfield, Missouri and departed this life on March 23, 2020 at Winchester Nursing in Bernie, Missouri at the age of 68 years.

Mr. Ivy is a veteran of the United States Army, serving in Vietnam.  He was a former self-employed contractor; and he was a former truck driver for Helena and Rhinehart Farms.  He was a member of the Clines Island General Baptist Church and a resident of Bloomfield.

On February 14, 1992, in Dexter, Missouri, he was united in marriage to Mae Marie Prichard Stevens.

He is survived by his wife, Mae Ivy of Bloomfield; by his mother Joy Swinger of Dexter; by three step-daughters, Cathy Becker of Dexter, Julie Holden of Dexter, and Lisa Fulkerson of Dexter; by six grandchildren, Chelsea McMunn, Alex Becker, Tyler Holden, Chance Holden, Haley Robey, and Matt Fulkerson; and by nine great-grandchildren, Carly McMunn, Lane McMunn, Crosby Becker, Kaia Becker, Ashton Holden, Reece Holden, Palmer Holden, Quinn Holden, and Peyton Robey.

He was preceded in death by his father, Frank Ivy; and by his brother, Phillip Ivy.

A memorial service will be planned for a later date.

In Memory of Thomas Taylor Chamberlain Sr.

Thomas Taylor Chamberlain Sr., son of the late Everett Lee Chamberlain and Wanda Lee Taylor Chamberlain, was born on May 1, 1959 in Hayti, Missouri and departed this life on March 22, 2020 at his residence in Dexter, Missouri at the age of 60 years.

Mr. Chamberlain was a former carpenter.  He attended First Baptist Church in Dexter.

On November 16, 2001, in New Madrid, Missouri, he was united in marriage to Ann Dockins.  Mrs. Chamberlain survives of their home in Dexter.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Kris Chamberlain of Dexter and Thomas Chamberlain Jr. of Dexter, by two daughters, Shannon Ridings of Marble Hill and Lexi Chamberlain of Dexter; by two brothers, Tim Chamberlain of Dexter and Stephen Chamberlain of Van Buren; and by four grandchildren, Bailey Chamberlain, Drew Chamberlain, Presley Ridings and Schell Ridings.

A memorial service will be planned for a later date.
