Jo Ann Jameson, daughter of the late Claude Moore and Ruth McClain Moore, was born on April 9, 1947 in Piggott, Arkansas and departed this life on February 24, 2020 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri at the age of 72 years.

Mrs. Jameson was a former seamstress for Paramount Hat Factory in Dexter and a resident of Dexter.

On October 8, 1977, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, she was united in marriage to Danny Jameson.  Mr. Jameson survives of their home in Dexter.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by three sons, Joseph Jameson and wife Rachel of Dexter, Jackie Cooper and wife Cheryl of Cape Girardeau, and Jeremy Cooper and wife Rayette of Colorado Springs, Colorado; by her brother, Dale Aldin of Cherry Valley, Arizona; and by eight grandchildren.

Other than by her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, J. R. Aldin.

Friends may call at Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Thursday, February 27, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. 

Funeral services will then be conducted in the Mathis Funeral Chapel on Friday, February 28, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Joe Payne officiating. 

Interment will follow in the Sparkman Cemetery.
