In Memory of Doris Esterline Hoggard
Doris Esterline Hoggard, daughter of the late Elmer Esterline and Nettie Cunningham Esterline, was born in Parma, Missouri on December 1, 1931 and departed this life at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Missouri on June 26, 2019 at the age of 87.

Mrs. Hoggard had worked at State Bank of Bernie for over 40 Years.  She was a member of the Corner Gospel Fellowship of Bernie, Missouri and a resident of Bernie.

She was united in marriage to Robert Quincy Hoggard in Piggott, Arkansas on May 13, 1949.  Mr. Hoggard preceded his wife in death on September 27, 2012.

Other survivors include two sons, Dennis R. Hoggard of Piedmont, Missouri and Kerry D. Hoggard of Fruitland, Missouri; by three daughters, Karla Gallamore of Ft. Smith, Arkansas, Marilyn Tiefenbrun of St. Louis, Missouri and Leah Beth King of Dexter, Missouri; by ten Grandchildren and fourteen Great-grandchildren; also by other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death other than by her parents and by her husband, by four brothers, Ed, John, Howard and LeRoy; by six sisters, Dora, Angeline, Fae, Alene, Vivian and Laveda, also by four siblings in infancy.

Friends may call at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Bernie, Missouri on Saturday, June 29, 2019 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.   Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday afternoon, June 30, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel in Bernie, with Rev. Dean Williams officiating.  Interment will follow in the Bernie Cemetery.  Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home of Bernie in charge of all arrangements.

In Memory of Elias “Alex” Aguilar
Elias “Alex” Aguilar, son of the late Jose and Adela Aguilar, was born on August 23, 1958 in Valparaiso, Indiana and departed this life on Monday, June 24, 2019 at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 60 years.

Mr. Aguilar was a self-employed car detailer and a resident of Dexter, Missouri.

On December 3, 1983, in Dexter, Missouri, he was united in marriage to Brenda Stoker.  Mrs. Aguilar survives of their home in Dexter.

In addition to his wife, Brenda, he is survived by two sons, Miguel Aguilar of Kansas City, Missouri and Jose Aguilar of Jacksonville, North Carolina; by his daughter, Rebecca Aguilar of Dexter, Missouri; by his brother, Jose Aguilar of Burgaw, North Carolina; and by two sisters, Marisela Alaniz of McAllen, Texas and Juanita DeLeon of San Juan, Texas.

Other than by his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Domingo Aguilar, Roberto Aguilar, and Rigoberto Aguilar; and by his sister, Orfalinda Cortez.

Friends may call at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter of Friday, June 28, 2019 from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. 

Funeral services will then be conducted in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel on Friday, June 28, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Lonny Mittag officiating.

Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter is in charge of all arrangements.

In Memory of Larry Lynn Barrett
Larry Lynn Barrett, son of the late Bobby D. Barrett and Correene G. Sitton Barrett, was born on December 3, 1965 in Poplar Bluff, Missouri and departed this life on June 24, 2019 at his residence in Dexter, Missouri at the age of 53 years.

Mr. Barrett installed drywall for Mid South Painting and Drywall in Dexter.  He loved spending time outdoors; hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his brother, Robert Barrett and wife Christine of Bloomfield, Missouri; by two sisters, Brenda Cox of Bernie, Missouri and Donna South and husband James of Dexter, Missouri; by his niece, Amy South of Bloomfield, Missouri; by his nephew, Adam South and wife Angela of Florissant, Missouri; by his great-niece, Scarlett South; and by his best friend, Ken Owens.

Friends may call at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Saturday, June 29, 2019 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. 

Memorial services will then be conducted in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel in Dexter on Saturday, June 29, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Dale Jones officiating. 

Interment will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.

In Memory of John E.
John E. "Doc" Barnett was born on September 20, 1965 in St. Louis, Missouri to Barbara Jordan Barnett and the late Leslie Barnett. He departed this life on Sunday, June 23, 2019 at his residence in Cape Girardeau at the age of 53. 

John E. "Doc" Barnett was  a CNA and was united in marrige to Linda Bradley on March 6, 2010 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. She survives of the home.

His other survivors include:
6 Sons: Charlie Bradley& wife, Chelsea of Cape Girardeau, Trucker McClish of South Carolina, Logan McMillen of Piggott, Arkansas, Justin McMillen of Paragould, Arkansas, Seth Calder of Cape Girardeau and Brandon Calder of Cape Girardeau.
2 Brothers: Mark Morris of Clarkton and David Barnett of Tennessee
2 Sisters: Nellie Barnett of Cape Girardeau and Lezley Guyton of Clarkton.
Mother: Barbara Barnett of Clarkton

He was preceded in death by his Father & nephew: Brandon Barnett. 


Visitation will be held Saturday June 29, 2019 from 12 - 2 P.M. at the Landess Funeral Home in Malden. 

Graveside funeral services will follow on Saturday, June 29, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. at the Stanfield Cemetery in Clarkton, Missouri. 

Internment will be in Stanfield Cemetery in Clarkton, Missouri.

In Memory of Ronald W. King
Ronald W. King was born on May 3, 1944 in Bernie, Missouri to the late Bertis Royal King & Bertie Bell McElyea King. He departed this life on Tuesday, June 25, 2019 in Dexter at the age of 75 years 1 month and 22 days.

Ronald W. King served with the Missouri Highway Patrol, was a Deputy Sheriff for Dunklin County, was a Malden Police Officer and investigator and later was a truck driver. Ronald was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Campbell. He served in the Naval reserves and was a member of the Bethany General Baptist Church in Campbell. He was a private pilot and enjoyed flying, riding his motorcycle, boating and fishing. Ronald was united in marriage to Geraldine Heckman on June 30, 1973 in Lakewood, Colorado. She survives of the home.

His other survivors include: 
Son: Jamie Ray King of Bernie.
Daughter: Rhonda Clayton & husband, Stanley of Campbell.
7 Grandchildren: Courtney King of Dexter, Cody King of Dexter, Adam Lawhon of Poplar Bluff, Kyla Medlin & husband, Justin of Malden, Hali Conley & husband, John of Bernie, Keith Clayton of Dexter & Travis Clayton of Campbell.
4 Great-grandchildren: Lilly Lawhon, Avery & Ayra Medlin, Ella Conley & one on the way.
2 Sisters: Shirley Crow of Bernie & Carolyn Robinson & husband, Joe of Malden.
Brother-in-law: Robert Heckman & wife, Rhonda.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister: Nonna Reed and 1 great-granddaughter: Braylynn Lawhon.
 
Visitation will be held Friday June 28, 2019 from 4-5 P.M. at the Landess Funeral Home in Malden.  Funeral services will follow at 5:00 P.M. with Reverend Bryan Johnson officiating.
