In Memory of Barbara Fulford

Barbara Fulford, daughter of the late H A “Buster” McGuire and Oble Felton McGuire, was born on July 10, 1938 in Batesville, Arkansas and departed this life on Monday, June 17, 2019 at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 80 years.
Mrs. Fulford was a member of the Dudley Community Church. She was a former line worker for Arvin Automotive for 23 years.
In 1958, in Dexter, Missouri, she was united in marriage to Charles J. Fulford, Sr. Mr. Fulford survives of their home in Dexter.
In addition to her husband, Charles, she is survived by her son, Charles J. Fulford, Jr. and his wife Teresa of Cape Girardeau, by two daughters, Wendy Ray and her husband Terry of Poplar Bluff and Stephani Underwood and her husband Trint of Dexter; by three brothers, B. A. McGuire and Raymond McGuire, both of Dexter and Charles McGuire of Indiana; by two sisters, Sue Sewell and Sharon Asberry, both of Franklin, Indiana; by four grandchildren and several step-grandchildren and several step-great grandchildren.
Other than by her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Kenneth McGuire.
Friends may call at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Thursday, June 20, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Funeral services will then be conducted in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel on Friday, June 21, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Lynn Ash officiating.
Interment will follow in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield.

In Memory of Mildred Lucille Carlton

Mildred Lucille Carlton, daughter of the late Grace and Lester Medlin, was born on January 9 1929 at Bernie, Missouri and departed from this life on June 16, 2019 in Blue Springs, Missouri at the age of 90.
In 1947, she was united in marriage to Paul L. “Shorty” Carlton in Piggott, Arkansas. Mr. Carlton preceded her in death on June 21, 2011.
Mildred was a resident of Dexter most of her adult life and was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Dexter. She worked at two manufacturing plants in Dexter for a few years and mainly enjoyed being a stay at home wife and Mom.
Surviving are one son, Dennis P. Carlton and his wife Wendy of Lee’s Summit, Missouri and two grandchildren, Katey Burmester (Patrick) of Kansas City, Missouri and Christopher Carlton of Chicago, Illinois. She is also survived by three sisters, Melba Ward-Walker of Bernie, Missouri, Louise Dye and Bonnie Brigman, both of Kennett, Missouri. Other than her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters and four brothers.
Millie always looked forward to her everyday pleasures. She enjoyed the springtime, sipping her early morning coffee, listening to the birds singing, seeing her beautiful flowers start blooming and reliving her fond-fond memories of all the blessings she has had throughout her life and was so thankful for.
Her most joyful times were the visits she shared with son Denny, his wife Wendy and her grandchildren Katey and Christopher who were very special to her.
Friends may call at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Friday, June 21, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
Funeral services will then be conducted in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel on Friday, June 21, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Mike Kohlbaker officiating.
Interment will follow in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery at Bloomfield.

In Memory of Nina M. Laing

Nina M. Laing, daughter of the late Floyd Junior Eads and Mary Margaret Esterline Eads, was born on September 14, 1953 in Poplar Bluff, Missouri and departed this life on Thursday, June 13, 2019 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri at the age of 65 years.
Mrs. Laing was the Activity Director for Cambridge Adult Daycare in Poplar Bluff and she worked as Direct Support Staff for Preferred Family Healthcare in Poplar Bluff.
On December 25, 2004, in Bernie, Missouri, she was united in marriage to Kevin J. Laing. Mr. Laing survives of their home in Poplar Bluff.
In addition to her husband, Kevin, she survived by her son, Samuel Clayton, Pruitt, III and his wife Tia of Dexter; by her daughter, Venus Starr Laing of Poplar Bluff; by her brother, Tim Eads of Dexter, by two sisters, Sherry Smith of Cape Girardeau and Gwen Tinker of Poplar Bluff; by her nephew Josh Tinker of Poplar Bluff and by her grandson, Rocky Wayne Pruitt.
Other than by her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Mark Eads.
Memorial services will be conducted at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield on Friday, June 21, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Tim Russell officiating.

In Memory of Darren L. Temples

Darren L. Temples, son of Norris “Bud” Temples, Jr. of Dudley, Missouri and the late Shirley Ann Shipman Temples, was born on June 25, 1969 in Florissant, Missouri and departed this life on June 15, 2019 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri at the age of 49 years.
Mr. Temples was a heavy equipment operator for the Dudley Road District.
In addition to his father, Bud, he is survived by two brothers, Aaron Temples and Ron Dee Temples, both of Dudley, Missouri.
Other than by his mother, he was preceded in death by his brother, Donald Lee Temples, in infancy.

In Memory of Brandy Nichole Deprow

Brandy Nichole Deprow, daughter of Joe Allen Deprow of Dexter, Missouri and Bast Goodwin Deprow of Bloomfield, Missouri, was born on November 9, 1987 in Poplar Bluff, Missouri and departed this life on Monday, June 17, 2019 at Southeast Health of Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 31 years.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by two brothers, Erik Deprow (Amy) and Jeff Laird (Chelsea Lusk), all of Dexter; by her paternal grandmother, JoAn Espada of Dexter; by three uncles, Glen Goodwin, Brad Deprow and Wade Deprow, all of Dexter; by two aunts, Becky Warren (Richard) and Bell Casson, all of Dexter; and by her best friends, Paul Bess and Betty Arnold, both of Dexter.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather and her maternal grandparents.
Visitation was held at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Wednesday, June 19, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Funeral services will then be conducted in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel in Dexter on Thursday, June 20, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Dale Jones officiating.
