In Memory of Brian James “BJ” Grimes
Brian James “BJ” Grimes, son of Jimmy Grimes of Cape Coral, Florida and Lisa Heaton Rieffer of Dudley, Missouri, was born on August 22, 1986 in Poplar Bluff, Missouri and departed this life on May 5, 2019 at his residence in Dudley at the age of 32 years.

BJ graduated from Dexter High School in 2005 and he was a former Offensive Lineman for the Dexter Bearcat Football team.  In 2005, he was awarded Class 3, 2nd Team, All State, Offensive Lineman; 1st Team, SEMO Conference, Offensive Lineman; and 1st Team, Class 3, District 2, Offensive Lineman.  Since graduating high school, he worked in the commercial construction industry.

In addition to his father, Jimmy, and his mother, Lisa, he is survived by his son, Mason Grimes of Bloomfield, Missouri, by Mason’s mother, Jennifer Zoll; by two brothers, Eric Grimes and Dustin Mitchell, both of Dexter, Missouri; by one sister, Ashley Jackson and by his paternal grandmother, Ruth L. Grimes of Dudley, Missouri.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents.

Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Friday, May 10, 2019 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. 

Funeral services will then be conducted in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel on Friday, May 10, 2019 at 2:30 p.m. with Rev. Tim Russell officiating. 

Interment will follow in the Dudley Cemetery.

Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter is in charge of all arrangements.

In Memory of Samuel R. McAnally
Samuel R. McAnally, son of the late Robert Lewis McAnally and Ellen Johnson McAnally was born on October 9, 1930 at Cashmere, Washington and departed this life at his residence near Dexter on May 3, 2019 at the age of 88.

Mr. McAnally was a member of the Dudley Community Church, a former farmer in the Dudley Community and a resident of rural Dexter.At birth, he was named Robert Lewis McAnally Jr., when his father came and saw what his mother had named him, he changed his name to Samuel Robert McAnally.  He moved to West Plains in 1945 and from there, to Dudley in 1951.

He was first united in marriage to Mona Wright on November 10, 1948 at Salem, Arkansas.  He was then united in marriage to Shirley Hadley on July 10, 1976 at Dexter.  She preceded him in death on August 16, 1995.  He then married Pauline De Arman in May of 1996.  She preceded him in death on September 6, 2017.

He is survived by two sons, Robert Michael McAnally (Mary) of Gadsden, Alabama and Larry W. McAnally (Doris) of East Bernard, Texas; by three grandchildren, Christopher Wayne McAnally, Leighton Hunter McAnally and Renee Talas; by four great-grandchildren, Clinton Wayne McAnally, Emma Claire McAnally, Dylan Marik and Jace Talas; by three sisters, Marie Clift and Ruby Jean Rice both of Wenatchee, Washington and Mary Culbertson of Dudley.

Besides his spouses and parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Delbert McAnally, Wayne McAnally, John McAnally and George Cates. 

Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter from 9:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, May 7, 2019. 

Funeral services will then be conducted in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Lynn Ash officiating. 

Interment will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.

Audrey Earlene Jackson, daughter of the late Earnest Cullen Jackson and Dora Wolfe Jackson, was born on February 10, 1939 in Como, Mississippi and departed this life on Friday, May 3, 2019 at Bloomfield Living Center in Bloomfield, Missouri at the age of 80 years.

Ms. Jackson was a former press operator for Elder Manufacturing, retiring after 42 years.  She attended the First Assembly of God Church in Dexter, Missouri and was a resident of Dexter.

She is survived by two brothers; Otis E. Jackson of Bloomfield, Missouri and Robert Jackson of Imperial, Missouri, and by many nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Wayne Jackson, James Jackson and Earnest Jackson.

Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Sunday, May 5, 2019 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. 

Funeral services will then be conducted in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Michael Kohlbaker officiating.  Interment will follow in the Hagy Cemetery.

In Memory of Randy Lynn Patterson
Randy Lynn Patterson, son of Lorene Parks and the late Donald Patterson, was born on March 12, 1955 in Dudley, Missouri and departed this life on Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at Landmark Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 64 years.

Mr. Patterson was a former construction worker and a resident of Dudley.

On May 9, 1975, in Dudley, he was united in marriage to Betty Britton.  Mrs. Patterson survives of the home in Dudley.

In addition to his wife, Betty, and mother, Lorene, he is survived by two sons, Perry Patterson and Jason Patterson, both of Dudley; by one daughter, Stephanie Butler of Dexter;  by three grandchildren, Jordan Patterson, Sam Butler and Kaytlin Tomes; and by two sisters.

Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Monday, May 6, 2019 from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.  Funeral services will then be conducted in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel on Monday, May 6, 2019 at 4:00 p.m., with Rev. Josh Hester officiating.  Interment will follow in the Dudley Cemetery.
