In Memory of Alberta
Alberta "Bertie" Pullum, daughter of the late Cecil Clyde and Gertie Agnes Gann Cook, was born in Bernie, Missouri on February 25, 1937, and passed away at the Crowley Ridge Care Center in Dexter, Missouri on February 7, 2019, at the age of 81 years, 11 months and 13 days.

Mrs. Pullum had been a resident of Dexter, Missouri for 47 years. She attended the Assembly of God Church in Bernie, Missouri and had been a member of the Cook Sister's singing group. She enjoyed reading the Bible, teaching the children's Sunday school class and spending time with her nieces and nephews.

On December 23, 1955, she was married to Lloyd H. Pullum at Hernando, Mississippi. He preceded her in death on June 29, 2006.

Surviving are four sisters: Barbara Maddox of Malden, Judy Walker of Bernie, Bernice Whitehead and Della Crossland both of Festus; one brother, Clifford Cook of Dexter. Other relatives and many friends also survive. She was preceded in death by a daughter; two brothers, Bill & Carlyn Cook; and two sisters, Neita Pullum and Carolyn Link.

Friends may call on Sunday, February 10, 2019, from 11:00 am until time of services at 2:00 pm at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri with Rev. Chad Cook of Ridgely, Tennessee officiating.

Interment will follow in the Bernie Cemetery in Bernie, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
