Rilla Fulkerson was born on December 22, 1928 in Tallapoosa, Missouri and departed this life on January 30, 2019 in Houston, Texas at the age of 90 years.

Mrs. Fulkerson was a member of First Baptist Church in Dexter, Missouri where she loved singing in the choir.  She was a homemaker and resident of Dexter.

On October 7, 1955 in Dexter, Missouri, she was united in marriage to James Fulkerson, Jr.  Mr. Fulkerson preceded her in death on August 3, 1983.

She is survived by one son, Mark and wife Lisa Fulkerson of Dexter, Missouri; one daughter, Jayme Fulkerson of Houston, Texas; by one brother, R. V. Redden; by two grandchildren, Haley and husband TJ Robey and Matthew Fulkerson; by one great-grandchild, Peyton Robey.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers, J. T. Redden, Virgil Redden and Jill Redden.

Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Saturday, February 2, 2019 from 1:30 pm until 2:30pm. 

Funeral services will then be conducted in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel in Dexter on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at 2:30pm with Tim Chamberlain officiating. 

Interment will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.

Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter is in charge of all arrangements.
