Bryan Leroy Bisher, age 78, a resident of East Prairie, MO, died Sunday, January 27, 2019, at his home.  Born December 20, 1940, in East Prairie, to the late Leroy and Ethelyne Haines Bisher, he was a timberman and had worked in construction.  He was of Pentecostal belief.

He married Frankie Davenport, who survives of the home. 

Also surviving are six sons, Kenneth Sprinkles of Maynard, AR, Henry Sprinkles of East Prairie, Mike Sprinkles of Bloomfield, MO, and David Sprinkles, James Sprinkles and Steven Sprinkles, all of East Prairie; four daughters, Patricia McDonald of Sikeston, MO, Sheila Tubbs of Benton, MO, and Sandra Sprinkles and Shelly Bisher, both of East Prairie; and two sisters, Maxine Haney of Chaffee, MO and Phyllis Boner of Abilene, TX.  Also surviving are several grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Earl Sprinkles; one daughter, Brenda Baker; one brother, Jack Bisher; and three sisters, Hilda Hardison, Shirley Bolden Barger and Sheila Crowley.

Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. until time of funeral service at 1 p.m. on Thursday, January 31, 2019 at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie.  Bro. Sonny Jackson will officiate.

Burial will follow in East Prairie Memorial Park.

Anna Mae Stanfill of Louisville, Kentucky, daughter of the late George and Rachel Gaines, was born in Dexter, Missouri on March 16, 1933, passed away at the Louisville East Post Acute Care in Louisville on January 24, 2019, at the age of 85 years, 10 months and 8 days.

Anna had had lived in Fairdealing and Dexter before moving to Louisville, Kentucky in 1998. She was member of the of the 1st Church of God in Louisville. She had been active in a senior citizens group and her church. She loved writing poetry and southern gospel music.

On January 25, 1951, she married William "Bill" Stanfill in Piggott, Arkansas. He preceded her in death on March 9, 1994.

Surviving are one daughter, Melba Driskill of Louisville, Kentucky; one son, Kevin Stanfill of Sikeston, Missouri; three grandchildren,, Amy Seals, Alicia Kreisman and Joshua Stanfill; four great grandchildren, Lyla and Luke Seals, Stella and Ryder Kreisman; and one sister, Ola Hill. Other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by one son, Roger Stanfill and three sisters, Wanda Smith, Elva Smee and Velma Grindstaff.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 1, 2019 after 1:00 p.m, until time of services at 2:00 p.m. at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter.

Interment will follow in the Armstead Dowdy Cemetery near Dexter with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.

Julia Marie Moore of Cape Girardeau, daughter of the late Joe Thomas and Rhoda Evelyn Kelly Patrick, was born near Bloomfield, Missouri on June 17, 1919, passed away at the Chateau Girardeau in Cape Girardeau on January 28, 2019, at the age of 99 years, 7 months and 11 days.

Julia had lived near Bloomfield in the Beech Grove Community until moving to Cape Girardeau in 2004. She was a long time member of the Castor River General Baptist Church and was now a member of the First General Baptist Church in Cape Girardeau.

On October 13, 1934, she married Elzie "Monk" Moore near Bloomfield, Missouri. He preceded her in death on June 6, 1996.

Surviving are one daughter & husband, Lola Gay & Don Seabaugh of Cape Girardeau, one daughter-in-law, Vivian Moore of Poplar Bluff; one son-in-law, Russell Layton of Fenton; ten grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; many great great grandchildren. Other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by one son, Herschel Vern Moore two daughters Melba Fisher and Carol Jo Layton; one sister, Helen Liebman and one brother James Patrick..

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 31 , 2019 after 10:00 a.m, until time of services at 12:00 p.m. at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home.

Interment will follow in the Walker Cemetery in Bloomfield with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.

Janice M. Cox, daughter of the late Milburn Harris and Dessie Morrison Harris was born on February 10, 1937 in Sikeston, Missouri and departed this life on January 28, 2019 at her residence near Dexter, Missouri at the age of 81 years.

Mrs. Cox was a retired school teacher and had taught in the Bernie Public School System and the Dexter Public School System for 40 years.  She was of the Baptist Faith and was a resident of rural Dexter.

She was united in marriage to Rodgie Cox in Dexter, Missouri.  Mr. Cox survives of the home in Dexter.

Besides her husband, she was survived by, one son, Ronald W. Cox and wife Laura Leigh Rampey of Miami, Florida; one sister, Linda Harris of Portageville, Missouri.

Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Thursday, January 31, 2019 from 1:00 to 2:00 pm. 

Funeral service will be conducted in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel at 2:00 PM on Thursday, January 31, 2019.  Interment will follow in the Chalk Bluff Cemetery.

Elmer Harry Pryor, son of the late Elmer Harry Pryor, Sr. and Veda Medling Pryor was born on September 4, 1946 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri and departed this life on January 26, 2019 at his residence in Dexter, Missouri at the age of 72 years.

Mr. Pryor was a veteran of the United States Navy, a retired Engineer, and a bus driver for the Stoddard County ARC.

Mr. Pryor was united in marriage to Barbara Bilderback on June 3, 1967 in Anna, Illinois. Mrs. Pryor survives of their home in Dexter.

Besides his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Michelle Ellis of Indianapolis, Indiana and Jennifer McQueen, Great Falls, Montana; two sisters, Janet Schildknecht of Anna, Illinois and Barbara Cooper of Waco, Texas; by three grandchildren, Daniel Pryor, Rhianon Pryor and Lesile McQueen.
