In Memory of Kathryn Louise Keasler

Kathryn Louise Keasler, daughter of the late Willie Earl Vieth and Helen Dawson Vieth, was born in Vinson, Missouri on November 7, 1935 and departed this life at her daughter’s residence in Cordova, Tennessee at the age of 82 Years.
Mrs. Keasler ran a Pre-School Day Care in Bernie and was loved by many. She was a member of White Oak Grove General Baptist Church of Rural Bernie, previously she had been a member of Parma General Baptist Church for many years.
She was united in marriage to Carl Gene Keasler in Vinson, Missouri on October 5, 1956. Mr. Keasler preceded his wife in death on December 8, 2017.
Survivors include four children, Kathy King & husband Paul of Cordova, Tennessee, Kerri Patton & husband Bill of Collierville, Tennessee, Kim Keasler of Lakeland, Tennessee and Kris Keasler & wife Cathy of Bernie, Missouri; by two brothers, Roger Vieth and Bill Vieth both of Bernie, Missouri; by one sister, Peggy Cox of Houma, Louisiana; by eight grandchildren, Brian Payne & Wife Alicia, Gentri Calvin & husband Jon, Cortney May & husband Bryan, Emily Payne, Jacob Rowland, Whittney Carter, Daniel Payne, and Blake Keasler; by six Great-grandchildren, Kylah Payne, Bryson Payne and Ballen Payne, Lydia Calvin, Hudson & Miller May; also by other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death other than by her parents and by her husband, by one sister, Carolyn Lutes; by one great-grandson, Jackson Cooper May.
Friends may call at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Bernie, Missouri on Thursday, October 25, 2018 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Funeral Services will be conducted on Friday Morning, October 26, 2018 at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri at 11:00 A.M. Rev. Gerald Fadler officiating. Interment will follow. Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in charge of all arrangements.

In Memory of Michael Todd Burns

Michael Todd Burns was born on July 13, 1962 in Dexter, Missouri.
He left this life on October 15, 2018 at Southeast Health of Stoddard County in Dexter, Missouri, after battling a lengthy illness.
He is survived by both parents, Bob and Joy Burns of Dexter, Missouri. One sister Robin (David) Mitchell of McMinnville, Tennessee. One brother, Terry (Lisa) Burns of Crossville, Tennessee. Two sons, Dustin Burns and Dalton (Jess) Burns both of Dexter, Missouri. Three grandchildren, Lilly Burns, Vincent Burns, and Zayne Morgan all of Dexter. Many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Friday, October 19, 2018 from 12:00 noon to 2:00 PM.
Funeral services will be conducted in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel on Friday, October 19, 2018 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Doug West officiating.
Interment will follow at the Hagy Cemetery.

In Memory of Charlotte K. Goodon

Charlotte K. Goodon of Morehouse, daughter of Kenneth Charles Goodon and the late Melba Mae Kavy Goodon, was born on November 10, 1958 in Dexter, Missouri and passed away at her home in Morehouse on October 15, 2018, at the age of 59 years 11 months and 5 days.
Charlotte had lived in Malden until moving to Morehouse six months ago. She attended Compasion Church and enjoyed collecting antiques, sewing, crafting and cooking.
Surviving are three sisters, Karen Stewart of St. Louis, Jeanie Watson of Malden, Yvonne Williams of Morehouse; one brother, Kenny Goodon of Morehouse; one god-daughter, Melissa Case of St. Louis, six nieces, two nephews, eight great nieces and ten great nephews. Other relative and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her mother Melba Mae Goodon.
Visitation will be Saturday, October 20, 2018, after 11:00 a.m. at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri until time of services at 12:00 p.m. with Mike Coleman of St. Louis and Frank Worthington of Sikeston officiating.
Interment will follow in the Hagy Cemetery in Dexter, with Watkins & Sons Funeral Services in charge of arrangements.

In Memory of Vicky Lynn Helgemo

Vicky Lynn Helgemo of Dexter, daughter of the late James Earl Rodgers and Shirley Annette (Burnett) Rodgers was born on August 21, 1954, and departed this life at her home in Dexter, Missouri on October 16, 2018, at the age of 64 years.
Vicky was united in marriage to Larry Duane Helgemo on March 13, 1974 at Tiptonville, Tennessee. To this union was born one daughter, Amanda Lynn Helgemo of Dexter, Missouri.
Vicky was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend. She dedicated her life as a homemaker to her husband and daughter. She enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening and spending time with her family.
Surviving are her husband, Larry Helgemo of Dexter; one daughter; Amanda Helgemo of Dexter; four sisters and spouses, Darlene & Dickie Bodi of New Madrid, Kathy & Darrell Ritch of Grayridge, Christine & James Collier of Kewanee and Jamie & Eric Curd of Essex; her mother-in-law, Lois Helgemo of Waterford, Michigan . Several aunts, uncles, brother and sister's in law, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who loved her dearly. She was preceded in death by her parents, James & Shirley Rodgers of Essex and her father in law, Donald Helgemo of Waterford, Michigan.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 19, 2018, from 12:00 until 2:00 p.m. at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter until time for the service at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. Doyle Burnett of Harrison, Arkansas and Bro. Darrell Burnett of Risco, Missouri officiating.
Interment will be in the Essex Cemetery in Essex, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
