In Memory of Elizabeth Ann Wrinkle
Elizabeth Ann Wrinkle, daughter of the late Richard Mayfield and W. Vestal Delk Mayfield was born on March 8, 1931 in Altoona, Pennsylvania and departed this life on August 1, 2018 at SoutheastHealth of Cape Girardeau at the age of 87.

Mrs. Wrinkle was a homemaker. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Dexter, Missouri.

She was united in marriage to Wm R. Wrinkle on August 31, 1984 in Visalia, California. He preceded her in death on December 26, 2014.

Survivors include: one daughter, Sue Kirkpatrick of Dauphin, Manitoba, Canada; two sons, John Tatko of Stow, Ohio and Thom Tatko of Prague, Czech Republic; one brother, Jim Mayfield of Corinth, Texas; five grandchildren, Laurel Kirkpatrick, Cherish Kirkpatrick, Leisel Kirkpatrick, Dave Tatko, Whitney Tatko and twelve great-granchildren.

A graveside service will be conducted at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri on August 10, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter in charge of arrangements.

In Memory of Mary Jo Wilkison
Mary Jo Wilkison, daughter of the late James Pullum and Geraldine Mayo Pullum was born on October 21, 1952 in Sikeston, Missouri and departed this life on August 5, 2018 at her residence in Bloomfield, Missouri at the age of 65 years. 

Mrs. Wilkison worked as an Insurance saleswoman.  She was a member of the St Joe General Baptist Church in Idalia, Missouri.

She was united in marriage to Lanny Wilkison on January 1, 1990 in Bloomfield, Missouri.  Mr. Wilkison survives of the home in Bloomfield.

Besides her husband, she is survived by two daughters; Jessica and her husband Mike Hawkins of Bloomfield and Jamie and her husband Danny Schuchart of Bloomfield; by two sisters; Joyce Underwood of Bloomfield and Connie Davis of Bell City; by four grandchildren; Mallory Hawkins, Wes Schuchart, Kinley Schuchart and Lyla Schuchart; by one nephew; TJ Davis and by many other nieces and nephews. 

Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by one brother; Robert “Bobby” Snider and by one niece; Cassidi Davis.

Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in charge of all arrangements.

In Memory of Alta Jeanette Wright
Alta Jeanette Wright, 90 years old, passed away Thursday, August 2, 2018, at the Ridgeview Nursing Facility in Malden, MO. Alta Jeanette Wright, one of 10 children, was born September 2, 1927, in Malden, MO to Robert Allison Hester and Anna Maude Taylor  Hester. She was united in marriage to James W. Wright, Sr. on May 22, 1949, at the First Baptist Church in Malden, MO., To this union 3 children were born. They survive their mother. Ann Snider of Malden, MO, and twin sons, Jim Wright, Jr of Malden, MO and Joe Wright, of Cedar Hill, MO. Also, surviving are 2 granddaughters, Sarah Snider of Malden, MO and Miriam Brown (and husband Josh) of Lexington, KY., 2 sisters, Kathryn Hester of Malden, MO, Barbara Mitchell, of Dunwoody, GA.; 1 brother W. D. Hester and wife Marcia, of Malden, MO.

In 1942, at the age of 15, Mrs. Wright surrendered her life to the Lord in believer’s baptism, and worked in the children’s Sunday School department as well as working as the church secretary at the First Baptist Church of Piedmont, MO for 10 years. Also, an accomplished vocalist, Mrs. Wright and 3 of her sisters enjoyed singing for various churches in the Southeast Missouri area as teenagers. She also continued to do solo work after her marriage.

Mrs. Wright was a member of the First Baptist Church of Malden, MO. She was a librarian at the Dunklin County Library, Malden Branch for 44 years, retiring in May 2017. She enjoyed music, reading, quilting, sewing, and especially loved being with her family.

Mrs. Wright was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, James Wright, her parents, 4 brothers, Marvin Hester, Gilbert Hester, Robert Hester, and William Hester; 2 sisters, Christine Wilson, and Clara Jaques.

Mrs. Wright’s request was for a graveside service for family and friends which will be held Monday, August 6, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. in Memorial Park Cemetery in Malden, MO. Bro. Aulden LeBlanc and Bro Dan Hargrave will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial gifts to the Malden Library, First Baptist Church, or the Shriners.

In Memory of Bob Lee Brown
Bob Lee Brown, son of the late Jess Brown and Lura Mae Wilson Brown, was born at Frisco, Missouri on December 31, 1929 and departed this life at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri on August 2, 2018 at the age of 88 years.

Mr. Brown was a Farmer and was a lifetime member of the Broadwater Church of the Brethren in Frisco, Missouri.

He was united in marriage to Barbara Shipman in Piggott, Arkansas.  Mrs. Brown preceded him in death on August 12, 2008.

He is survived by five sons; Garry Brown and wife Carol of Dexter, Missouri, Larry Brown and wife Erin of Dexter, Missouri, Robert Brown and wife Cindy of Murray, Kentucky, Ronald Brown and wife Maureen of Edwardsville, Illinois, and Dennis Brown of Dexter, Missouri; by one daughter; Debra Kelley of Essex, Missouri; by seventeen grandchildren; and by twenty-one great-grandchildren.

In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers; Jess Marion Brown Jr., Lloyd Brown, and Lester Brown; and by five sisters; Mildred Tippen, Myrtle Millington, Ruth Coffey, Clara Baker, and Willene Swinger.

Friends may call Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Sunday, August 5, 2018 from 1:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M. 

Funeral Services will then be conducted at 3:00 P.M. in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel with Rev. James Malloy and Rev. Marie Froman officiating. 

Interment will follow in the Hagy Cemetery.

In Memory of John Davis
John Davis, son of the late Howard “Docky” Davis and Kathleen Barker Thomas, was born in Poplar Bluff, Missouri on July 7, 1940 and departed this life at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri on August 2, 2018 at the age of 78 years.

Mr. Davis was a Veteran of the United States Army.  He served as Military Police at West Point and served in the Korean War.  He was the President and CEO of the Bank of Bloomfield, which is now US Bank.  He loved his grandchildren, was an avid fisherman and a fan of Cardinals baseball.

He was united in marriage to Kathleen Claire Good on June 17, 1959.  She preceded her husband in death on April 29, 2011.  He later married Myrla Courter on January 18, 2013.  Mrs. Courter-Davis survives of their home in Poplar Bluff.

Survivors include two daughters, Mindy and her husband Tim Robey of Dexter, Missouri and Lynn and her husband Steve Pullum of Dexter, Missouri; by one step-daughter, Jennifer Williams of Malden; by four grandchildren, T.J. and his wife Haley Robey, Drew and his wife Leah Robey, Logan Robey and Taylor Robey; by three step-grandchildren; Tyler Pullum, Travis Pullum, Travis Williams and by one great-grandchild; Peyton Robey.

Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri on Saturday, August 4, 2018 from 11:30a.m. until 2:00p.m. 

Funeral services will then be conducted at 2:00p.m. in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel with Rev. Kenny Lambert officiating. 

Interment will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.
