In Memory of David Lee Swindell

David Lee Swindell, son of Wilda Mae (Swindell) Armes and the late Charles Junior Swindell was born on August 3, 1950 in Bloomfield, Missouri and departed this life on April 12, 2018 at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau at the age of 67.
Mr. Swindell worked at General Motors in St. Louis, owned and operated Lil’ Dave’s Package Store, and was a truck driver for Cassens in St. Louis. He was a resident of Bloomfield.
Survivors include, his mother, Wilda Mae (Swindell) Armes; one son, Jeremy Swindell (Amy) of Dexter; one daughter, Stephanie Monroe (Josh) of Dexter; the mother of his children, Marla Swindell of Bloomfield; one sister, Ronda Burchard (Steve) of Clayton, Missouri; and three grandchildren, Jarred Swindell, Jiles Monroe and Mylan Monroe.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Junior Swindell.
Friends may call the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Sunday, April 15, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.
Graveside Service will be conducted on Monday at 10:00 am at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield with Bill Aslin officiating.
